- One of the most iconic names of 20th century fashion, Yves Saint Laurent broke tabus and created new pathways for the fashion industry.
He dressed empowered women, befriended them and celebrated them.
YSL was the ONLY designer who could depict other cultures so elegantly, WITHOUT insulting or appropriating that said culture.
His Russian, Moroccan and African collections are beyond museum-worthy.

yes, it's true. But this video is about Yves' fashion, not his relationship with others, which can be the theme for another video.
....very disrespectful....however that is DISCONNECT between the REALITY of the world and culture of HAUTE COUTURE....the lack of MODERNITY and TRUE SOPHISTICATION.....and HUMANITY...
