that ziggo dome performance was perfection. just. perfection.
Oh yeah it really was ! 🙏
Really appreciate the time, care, and detail you put into your videos. Thanks!
Thank you for all this info! Learning specific nuggets of gold that I have been looking for....
Great breakdown!
I might be biased but I think the solos were better in Stockholm 2019 (because I went to that show).
In Sthlm, he uses the delay instead of the Strymon Flint for the first solo (from what I could tell) and that first solo is just beautiful right through it. So dynamic and skillful.
I think he gets another vibe and mood when he alter which pedals he use for songs, so he’ll play a reaction to the tone he has in that moment, if that makes any sense.
He use the pedals he feel like to use in the moment, seems like he doesn’t wanna repeat his soloing, thus making the performance a bit unique for that audience.
Maybe 39s is the fastest I hv caught up to video premiere on YT, you always amaze us with the detailed content. Keep it coming.
Thank you so much 🙏🏻
Great video, Justin!
I bought an Ibanez TS-10 in the 90’s. I hear it’s worth $400 because John used it. Thanks Johnny!
My father found one in the dumpster back in the 80s, lucky me...
Nice job on this one. Does John not use the Way Huge AP on this track? Is it not used in the studio or live versions?
Glad I was able to see him Live at exact this footage of Ziggodome. As a german it is near impossible to see him live except every thousand years feelwise.
Are the pedalboards of the sidemen onstage reviewed? It would be interesting to see how their sound/gear compliments Mayer’s sound.
I use an transistor fender amp. Do you think works using a Morning glory always on for a little break up. Or can i go clean, an only use the klon + ts10?
How does he use the Providence delay 80’s? For a slap back or long delay? Any guess as to the setting?
The Solodallas Storm is now going to be the most sought after pedal on Reverb. Queue the scalpers.
Luckily I bought one months ago In new condition for 175
How does John use the reverb side of the Strymon flint?
Man Fr. This is something I want to know. I have a strymon blue sky so I don’t need a flint, but knowing how he dials in his flint would be insightful.
I got a video coming out in the next week or two on the Flint that will go over his settings and quite a few examples of him using both sides!
@@JustinJeske I also want to know if John has used the new V2 flint,do I need to buy the flint V1 or V2? Thank you!
From what I've seen he hasn't, so only V1 still, but honestly you don't need a Flint! Any good reverb and harmonic trem will do the trick in separate pedals or dual! I really like the Keeley Hydra as another great option that's like the Flint
@@JustinJeske Cool! thanks!
Slow Dancing was your first John Mayer song
