You probably don't want to hear this but I remember when my uncle used to farm he had an Allis Chalmers tractor with a metal seat no cab no air conditioning no radio no windshield nothing but a metal seat you should thank God everyday for the beautiful equipment the fantastic equipment you have
Funny you walking away from your cracked corn saying “some good stuff there” and the powder evidence under your nose 🤣
Its always nice to see father and son together i miss that most lost my dad 35 yes ago so Cole cherish every day u can with dad
Yes, we don't seem to always appreciate the time we have together until we have lost a loved one! Blessings!
I was getting worried 😟 about there not being a Dad Joke but then Bam there it was 🤣🤣🤣
He slid the augur under the truck and thought for a moment "damn that's A big jack ". Lol "
I think every UA-cam channel should have a second "raw, unedited" channel for us fanatics. I can watch a 20min episode but I'm always left wanting more. I could watch surveillance cameras on this farm & be entertained.
I think it’s more fun to watch people work rather than actually doing the work. Keep up the good work.
*Cole with corn powder on his lip* "Wow, that's some good stuff" I chuckled.
Therapy...Sometimes I wonder if your dad and you have gone through couples therapy. You two work so well together.
Let's see Brian and Jeff wrestle again...that was funny

@@doubleglfarms9750 Thank you. We love them too. We also love Larson Farms. Just subscribed to your channel.
Catching up on older kids here.

Looking good. Hope you don't get a hard winter and plenty of weather you need next spring. Thank you guys for keeping us fed with those beautiful black Angus and all else you provide to keep our USA running PROUD!
Blessings............missing the home state of my youth!
15:20 Cole says, "wow, that's some good stuff"! Lol
Loved the shorter auger joke.🤣😂😅😉🙃
Busy day for Sonne Farms. Great vlog.
Hey, you are supposed to be grinding corn, nor gears. Too bad you did not grow up when we had to shift everything. Seriously, i love your channel, i like how you find simple ways to deal with issues, use whatever you have at hand to fabricate things, and, the fact that your farm looks like a real farm, not, an industrial enterprise. I fear the end of family operations like your's. I may be an old romantic, but, i hope there is a place for your type of operation in the future.
Ahhh a stroll down memory lane...grinding gears.
I was waiting for Cole to roll up at the end and say something like, "hey pretty lady, you going my way" cause it never seems to amaze me what banter is gonna come out between these 2 guys lmao, stay safe guys
Cole , you were born to late in life to have Brian strength , like many farm kids the round baler stopped that !
Thanks for the show. See ya next time.
another great awesome video. Thak you Jeff Mr. B and Cole for all that y'all do fo us.. Y'all are awesome
Your videos always make my day better.
Great video. City folk don't realize how much work goes into making a ribeye steak.
The corn's too dry ... the corn's too moist... 🤔. The corn's just right. 😁
Cole you sure make me laugh…………I could watch you all day. It’s great to see how much you enjoy what you do! Keep up the good work! Oh,by the way……when starting out with an empty semi- -- it’s easier to shift by skipping a gear- no grinding.
Thanks for the video it's beautiful your father is an amazing your uncle too and you too you have so many flies on the corn you can see when you pack it down on the video it's not a problem
I laughed when you were trying to get rid of the rattle in your cab, I'm the same can't Stand that !!!
I love Brian giving us all 'extra points' 13:15!
Ya all work good together to get the job done. good job Cole on the grinder and pushing all that ground up corn in to the holding area.
That 6155R seems like a great tractor. I love it's classic look. Terrific video. Need more Brian and Jefferino!
That there some beautiful Sonne farms corn cattle be happy 😄
Looks like a good harvest
According to the urban dictionary a HOOCHIE COOCHIE is a Term used in the song "Chattahoochee" by Alan Jackson. Although most assume it is a made up phrase to rhyme with Chattahoochee, it is actually a term originally used to describe a sexually provocative belly dance performed by gypsies.
Hoochie coochie was used in a song long before Alan Jackson came around, Muddy Waters king of the Blues had a song titled Hoochie Coochie man!!
@@lukedesselle2491 and also before him it was used in a Mickey Mouse film where minnine mouse 🐁 was called that 1929 Mickey Mouse film called the karnival kid where Mickey was a carnival worker attracted to Minnie whom was a hoochie coochie dancer !
Great job driving the semi Jeff
I watch you all the time and I like your content also I am 74 years old and I am starting a homestead of my one
hope you love it at your farm
Great video Cole and Brian
Great video Cole. Thanks . Enjoy the restaurant.
50 billion microbes!!! I would love to meet the person that sat there and counted them. I would shake his hand...after he washed them of course. Lol great stuff keep guys, keep it up.
Hi Friends enjoyed the video have a day love from TEXAS
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. I love the slang of “turning on the slingshot “. That is a really good one. Thanks Brian and Cole. You two are a great family team with help from uncle Jeff. Cole it is so nice you can work with your dad like you do. Just great. Moms gone so here we go to restaurant for our supper. Ya!!!! You have a good system for getting the corn ground up for the ground silo. Doing just great. What is this grinding noise I heard from driving the truck. You generation is so spoiled with automatic transmission. I learned with the manual on everything. Can hop in anything and make it work. Hang in there Cole and you will get it. Just takes practice and time behind the wheel. Love driving the semi’s. Hey, that place called Storia station fixes tires, just saying. Ha!!! Love watching Brian and Cole, you two are the best. Great team effort. You take care and be safe. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks. The Iowa farm boy from years ago.
Staying in rapid city tonight and was flipping through the channels at the hotel and found you guys on my tv.
Love the videos. I watch them during my 30 minute break. As a trucker that drives a manual truck one pointer I can give you is don’t let off the pedal so much when you shift. Let the RPM drop slowly. A light grind(meaning you really won’t hear it you will barely feel it in the stick) will sort of tell you when it’s spinning slow enough to slide it into gear.
Thanks for the tip
Good luck combining your 2021 crops Sonne Farms
Nice video Sonne Farms ! I watch all of your video's ! Many greetings from Belgium (Europe)!!!👍👍
Love listening to your banter guys! Makes my day!
awsome video cole got lots done there still lots to go lol thumbs up and shared
Thanks for sharing
Really interesting video. Your intro about corn dust was good prep for when I saw the dust blowing out of the grinder. I don’t know why but your videos are educational and entertaining! Good work!
Awesome Video and Much Love as Always 🌞 Farms!!!
I enjoyed the whole thing.
Love watching you guys..reminds me of my younger days when I worked in the hay fields and the dairy.
"Cole cracks corn and I don't care, Cole cracks corn and I don't care..."
Floating the gears!!
Thanks !
I like the way the two of you work together.
I admit... I gasped when you were pulling up to that swing hopper 😲
I sure am enjoying my front row seat!
Shining up those gears in that truck, can’t find them grind them.😂😂
hahaha oops
When you are in the field you need to get hand radio for the job on the farm. You can talk to Brian and you can talk to him. The corn is looking good hope you get a lot more done. from Stephen in North Carolina, Mocksville
Ham radio or FRS(no license needed)
Loved the camera angles. You made me flinch when backing in the pit. Great narrative.
Can't find em, Grind Em.
Your the GREATEST!!! TALK to LT DAN, about new Leg's
Another great video! Getting it done.
Food is such a great motivator for men and boys....lol
Something about South Dakotans and Iowans loving there Busch Light!
Interesting to see that you guys in the U.S. drive Tractors so different than here in Germany. We mostly use the foot pedal to control the revs. You put it on max and here we go😅
Full send is the only way to go
We take the foot pedal out it very annoying to hear a tractor revving up and down all the time ( side note I would say a third of the farmers around where I live use the foot throttle )
The only thing a foot pedal is used on is the payloader... otherwise the little throttle lever is perfect for almost everything else!
As the ole saying goes, "grind them till you find them"! The look you gave is the same that everyone does when they grind them! LoL
And ride it till it fits.
Father and son. You are a joy to watch. Doesn’t Storla Station fix tires? Keep up the good work stay safe.
Great outro! Cheers..👍😎
The corn has moisture at a hi level 👍😎😳
The corn is too wet to slide down the hopper, but too dry to pack nice...these working conditions are just not right. You should complain to management. :) Love the videos!
Great video call big one of the best surprising how well that corn packs.
Awesome video!!!
Busy day, your getting good at running in circles. Great video. I hope you have a great meal along with some cold brewskis . See you next time.
WHERE is your hat in warm weather a hat helps...just a tip from aussie land !!! :) love your videos and green gear !!!
Judging by the 15:20 and the evidence on your upper lip you really enjoyed it!! Need to work on hiding your corn addiction a wee bit better, Cole. Do not want ya family to find out the type of stuff your taking. :-)
GREAT VIDEO 👍👍
Fun to watch the way other farms and parts of the country farm. In southern Minnesota it is mostly crop farming so I enjoyed " cracking corn."
Keep looking second gear is there somewhere……. A memory from dad.😎
Nice of you to leave that handle up there for us Iowans. It looks like the outline of the Iowa map. LOL!!! J.R.
I'LL BE THERE!!!!
If you had a bigger bucket you could make your corn as wet as you want ! LOL
So many tires that need repair and you own a shop. Great video
Tireject ......... onelonelyfarmer says it works for farm equipment.
Not sure about highway use.
OK I had to re-run that "Wow, that's some good stuff" comment. Nice one. heh....
19:09 dam near poked my eye out with that hitch
Mighty fine grits y'all making !
If you can't find'em, grind'em!
Love your videos
Well done to you all another bisy day Jeff Cole Brian give your selves a big Pay Rise
Cole... If you find yourself grinding the gears in the manual truck try "Double Shuffling" when you're in the lower gears, that should help prevent the gear grinding. 👍🧡
Oh great. Now I envision Cole, Brian and Jeff shuffle dancing. "Every day I'm shuffling".
@@susanjohnson1674 😂😂😂😂😂
If u cannot find them, grind them.
Cole I blame you for this when I was looking through the window of your tractor I thought my iPad screen was dirty totally on you. Lol.
To keep mice out of the cabs of equipment try soaking a small sponge in peppermint oil; put that in a soap dish or in an open half of one of those soap travel containers -- the plastic ones -- see if that will work for keeping mice and rats out of the cabs of your equipment. Supposed to work on cars and RV that go to storage -- doesn't stink like a mouse either -- LOL!
Shawn Woods “mousetrap Monday” has tested all these ways. Just another fun channel.
Keep farming!! 🤟🚜🐮
I think you 2 like when moms gone gives you an excuse to go put for dinner lol
“Slingshot”...like father like son👍😂 Question, all that corn feed out in the open, doesn’t that attract a lot of mice? 🤔
Always enjoy your videos 👍 jus if you never drive the stick truck as you call it lol .. you will never get good at .. hope your harvest continues to go well for you An your Dad 👍stay safe ! I jus had to ask you Cole ... why was there corn on your upper lip jus below your nose ? Were you trying to sniff that crack corn .. hehehe hahaha lmao 🤣🤣🤣
Took the old pants off to have lunch?? When can we come to lunch? I bet that nice yellow corn grinds into tasty feed. I never tire of the taste of corn. Looks like it's still hot there. Good video. Peace.
Ellie: "Cole cracked corn and I don't care"
Glad u didn't break any bolts sucks it was so hot out but u gotta do what u gotta do
Wet and dry corn are a world apart on how it flows/handles. I always need to keep that in mind when we switch or I have lots of bushels on the ground.
looked like you were sniffing corn dust
