Glad to hear your bro is ok. I really need to get my amiga back out and play... keep wanting to build a pistorm but waiting for the 1200 version. Loved my action replay back in the day.
@@ojbeez5260 As a couple of players, of course. 🙂 Excuse me if my expression was not the most correct. (My understanding of the English language is only basic). In what more correct way would you have written that expression? (I would really appreciate your opinion on that. To learn more). Thanks.
Nice. Also just bought an A500 Plus that needs some TLC and is getting a few upgrades. What's nice about the Plus model is that it can be upgraded to 2MB Chipmem cheaply.
Love the A500 geek-out sesh! Glad your brother is ok :-). Action Replay is such a handy utility. It's got pretty much everything at the flick of a switch. No load time!
I see you make music on the PC so what DAW are you using and what sort of music do you make? Im into house music and use Bitwig with some other hardware like a midi controller and synths.
I actually create music on the Amiga and Polyend Tracker. ua-cam.com/video/me_UW6-fddo/v-deo.html I have a mixed taste so the style of music I create varies. I have three albums up at the moment. msmadlemon.bandcamp.com/music I do like Dance, trance and some hard house tracks, but also 80s, 90s and even 70s disco. Yeah quite a wide variety of styles.
Hi Dear ... Sorry to hear what happened to your Brother... I just knew when I watched your New Amiga 500 Follow up - 'Testing' it Video... I hope He and all Your Family Members and Loved ones are all Fine... Wishing You All the Best ... Mohammed A. Rahim Manama - Bahrain
I was never able to pass up an orphaned A500. I have about 15 of them in my garage cupboard with accessories and hundreds of disks. I even have one of the pretty rare CD/CDTV add-ons. The Action Replay was probably the most useful extra I ever bought for the system. It's sitting right here in front of me. Unfortunately it all sits gathering dust now since I emulate everything on the PC with WinUAE. I had so many good years on the A500 before I bit the bullet and made the jump to PC. SWAT was probably my favorite game.
What demo is that? Hey love your videos but can you put the names of all of the games/demos/music played in the description so that we can enjoy them too on our own Amigas? :) Much love -FK
I think I take it for granted, thinking people will already know all the games I play. :o) I'll do that or at least make sure to show the title screen or mention them clearly in the video itself.
Nice video. I was in my twenties when the Apple IIGS and the Amigas were out. I loved those computers a lot. Todays computers are very fast, but have no individual style or "soul" anymore. They are just toasters. Not fun and engaging at all.
@@MsMadLemon plus the fact that games were available physically for purchase. These days it's all digital store fronts. Total bullshit. I hate it. I game on consoles because at least there, physical media is still available. The day physical media ever becomes non-existent, I will stop supporting gaming for that generation and beyond, and focus on the backlog.
I'm glad your brother is doing well now. I've hear a lot about him from you these years and it would be cool to see your brother in one of your videos. It sounds like he is a very interesting person too. The last demo was really impressive for a stock A500. I wonder what future upgrades you have in mind for this machine.
I love retro. I cut my teeth on a Commodore 64. Before I actually transferred to a PC, I was on a 128D with a 14.4Bps Hayes modem plain rocking the internet... I never got into Amiga, and I finally realized why. Amiga WAS NOT COMMODORE. Commodore bought Amiga towards the end ("end" is a arbitrary term that we can discuss later)... but, what I have realized is that Amiga users are younger than me. And, I will admit that I did see some demos back in the day, the 128 was my pinnacle.
The TBL EON demo is amazing, I have just had an amiga 500+ fully restored by my dad which is nice, you should try out Dread which is an FPS if you haven't already, happy now everyone is well

Have watched your videos for years, and so happy that you are happy now. x
So glad to hear your brother is well. Good to see your newest A500 is up and running well. Looking forward to your latest projects!

Get well soon, Madija's brother :-). Sorry to hear about your stressful week. Always prioritise loved ones over videos, they are much more important.

I agree completely, there's something special about computers back then, their individuality.

X-Copy not working ? LOL Wut !? 😂
For some reason I couldnt get any version of X-copy to detect the Gotek as df1, i'm not sure why... it just came up with df0 only connected.
