I feel like Nick O’Teen is The Joker’s alter ego
This is probably the deepest superman voice has ever been
Richard Williams is a fucking genius. Animator's Survival Kit is probably the best book for learning anything I've ever read
0:09 I thought he was gonna say "Waluigiiii!".
Animation more crisp than the air ever will be
I don't know who is more evil, the guy who just wanted to get kids to smoke tobacco or the guy that murdered a man for the same act.
CustomLime the guy who wanted the kids to smoke tobacco he was doing the wrong thing entirely just pressuring people into that stuff should be illegal
@@WednesdayMan i kindly disagree. Straight up murder is alot worse. Alot of young teens smoke and quit later in life with no problems others well not so lucky but thats life
@@ishthefish9006 the guy was getting kids hooked into a nicotine addiction through cigarettes which most likely would lead to lung cancer causing them to die, if that man had not been stopped more kids would've been affected, there are better ways of stopping the man yes, but compared to the many lives that would've died from lung cancer that he could've been responsible for, it isn't as bad.
Well, it's a cartoon. Pretty sure he'll just fall down and have his figure indented onto the ground. But he'll only have a couple brushes. So, Nick O' Teen is more evil.
@@ishthefish9006 Nick O Teen was clearly doing it to get kids addicted the sigs, I think he's worse.
This is the prequel of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns.
The War on Drugs of the Reagan administration.
Nick O'Teen's scream as Superman threw him into space will haunt my dreams forever
Superman: I never say yes to a cigarette.
Kid: but, you're Superman. Nothing except kryptonite can hurt you. You can probably handle cigarettes.
Throws kid into orbit.
He probably can physically handle cigarettes. But they cause addiction. Even superman ain't ammune to addiction.
RevolvingWorld So basically just a financial problem for him.
@@revolvingworld2676 lex luthor's new plan: buy out all the tobacco companies in the world. As the world's sole provider of cigarettes, lex can make Superman work for him.
Well, in Superman 3 they used tar to create some Kryptonite and while it didn’t harm him it did turn him evil.
"Never say yes to a cigarette"
*starts a civil war between Batman, Genocide and Injustice kills*
But he didn't say yes to a cigarette, did he?
@@Polyglot_English dont let him fool you it's all because every back of cigarettes comes with a free rock of Kryptonite.
how to forget when green arrow offered cigarettes to superman's parents
"C'mon kids,if you want to grow up fast take one of *t e e e e s* "
That explains batman's voice
I didn't know that psychicpebbles was interested in Richard Williams.
Wonder if Zack was just trying to make a point to Stamper. Although Stamper did say he's quitting smoking last Magfest... Well trying too.
Richard Williams wrote the Animators Survival Kit; why wouldn't he be interested?
Well yea your right about that. I just wonder If he has seen the Thief and the Cobbler, not the shitty, butchered version that was released in theaters, but the "re-cobbled cut" which is pretty much how Richard Williams originally wanted it to look. I would check it out if you haven't already. It has no annoying voice acting and its story is told strictly through animation, instead of dialog.
“If you wanna go up fast take one of these“ Holy fucking shit that counter goes extremely hard.
"He went into orbit at mach 7" - Superman
The animation was faking amazing
Animators (at least old ones) are well known to smoke a lot.
Did Superman just murder that poor bastard?
His name is Nicholas o'teen. Dc should make him a villain who gives children cancer. And has a tobacco factory as a civilian.
I actually wouldn’t mind the guy being an actual villain. Give him a bit of a redesign too.
@@anotherrandomguy8871 tuxedo with hat
@Gail Hunter This is an ad about teaching children not to smoke, so don't even bring how you don't believe in god in the comment section because NOBODY CARES WHAT YOU THINK!
I was always blown away by the animation here, never knew it was Richard Williams' studio, that's rad!
Damn, yes he was giving kids cigarettes but that didn't earn being thrown into orbit I don't think. What does he do to enablers like "Al Cohol" or "Mary Juana"? Yeet them into volcanos? WTF
Nyarlathotep The Crawling Chaos he wanted to grow up fast and he did
Maybe if people who went after kids were punished like this, we wouldn't have the Epsteins of the world today.
I mean except for the one on Welcome Back Kotter years ago, he was funny!
@@CliftonPhotographer okay yes you have a point lol :D
@@thewanderingassassinlk3136 Nick O'teen just became Sputnik
@KillTheTank lol yes, clearly
Plot twist: Nick O' Teen landed in the middle of a highway causing a collision and killing 5 people
as soon as i saw this i knew it was richard williamson. that man was an absolute god at animation, rest in peace.
You have to admire they actually cared back then.
"Ban harmful vapes!"
"What about cigarettes, politician?"
"Uh, w-we're taxing it more.."
@@pupper9474 yeah because people would flip shit if they illegalised and it might enroach on the legality of cannabis as well
@@user-erased It's just a giant money maker industry that buys politicians for protection.
@@pupper9474 And the vape industry is different?
@@madelaki Currently, yes. Otherwise politicians wouldn't be complaining about them. The much worse cigarettes are still available to adults, but most want to ban vaping outright. The reason is because this cuts into the tobacco industry's profits.
