Dating in 2023 is not for the weak or faint hearted! In this weeks live we discussed many topics but a big one is the trend of married men pursing single women. Since moving to Houston Texas I have noticed this behavior more and more. Some say this is common especially in major cities but I never experienced this in the northeast. What do you think?

All men cheat
Seperated from my wife here in Houston. From Indiana. Getting a divorce but refuse to date here or even get down down here based on the atmosphere alone. Stds all over the news. Tried dating sites and everyone wants money out of you. Focusing on me and my kids until I can transfer to rural America and find something real. These big cities ain't it. Rural will be better for my kids as well. Don't want the. Going against the grain in the dating game either

Nigerian men love Houston because they can have multiple women just like they do back home in Nigeria 😂 . On a real though Nigerian men are known to practice polygyny and have multiple families no matter their location and they keep their families separate, so you were more than likely just kept in the dark by your fam. There's a reality that we have more Black women in the US than single Black men, so a lot of women have to either get comfortable with being the wife and sharing your man or the sidechick. If you don't want that then you honestly may need to lower your standards. All women want the attractive guy, with an education, career, etc but don't realize that these men have a lot of options.
I understand your perspective. Another option is for Black women to date non black men vs lowering their standards.

Not sure how i found this video. But i just got back from Lagos and it is def big in Lagos, Nigeria. Out there a guy can be polygynous and have girlefriends and side chicks in addition to wives. And the single women don't mind like the US because it's less opportunity for them to make their own money and they want financial support.

@@EJIMANnenaNgozi yes the hell they are! Men just don't talk like women do. We keep it to ourselves and the cheating women don't tell their friends because they don't want to be looked at like hoes or having low integrity. Trust me. This is literally what they've all told me
@EJIMANnenaNgozi not true at all lol. The stats show that men and women pretty much cheat at the same rate. I've been hit on by plenty of married women throughout my years in Houston. A lot of people both men and women cheat here.

Married men are notorious for going after single women. I'll be 35 shortly and I can recall as a kid my aunt's having these same discussions in the early/mid 90s. Also I consume lot of media (TV, music,news and movies) and infidelity has been publicized quite a bit since the late 60s. I know a woman from Gambia who said this has also been an issue in her area since the 80s. And I know for a fact both my grandmas went thru this (born in the later 20s/ early 30s).
I believe its nothing new. But I experienced it on another level in Houston, Texas!

Dating is actually a game that was created by Chuck Barris who also produced and hosted "The Gong Show". Although, they both were very entertaining shows, there are not any written established rules for dating. Therefore, "The Gong Show" is often the final result of "The Dating Game". I always recommend if you are going to play a game, play one that already has written established rules to it. Doing so will eliminate a lot of heartaches.
