We were divorced after 22 years together but the memories of days gone by still linger . He passed away in 2004. I wish I had told him that despite the way things ended, I would do it all again. I've loved A Song For You since Leon Russell released it. I've never read it in quite the same way as you. I've always heard a song of great and intimate love and meaning between two people, professed by one for the other in the immediacy of their moment together.
