Harvest mouse is definitely my favorite, it's such an adorable scent?? just like the little guy on the bottle. I like that it's sort of cozy, enveloping, sweet and cute which is very odd when all of that is juxtaposed right next to the beer because it makes me feel comfy but at the same time it makes me like I just had one too many cans of beer lol

I don't own any of the super crazy scents except for panda & sloth but it's nice seeing you finish off the series! I have hummingbird and really love it. To me it is mostly honey and lilac and sweet in a very special way. Really reminds me of hummingbirds hovering over flowers. Very special house. So far I tried dragonfly and hummingbird and got a bottle of hummingbird as soon as it was in my budget. Thx for your fine and fun description of the scents ✨
To me TRex is beautiful. I adore incense, which I get from this scent, but I also get lots of florals. I have a bottle and I cherish it. Next on my wish list is Musk Deer. I also love Elephant, Chameleon, Camel and Cockatiel
Bat changed formulas as well. If you want the original (as in the actual original, by the same perfumer, and not a dupe), look up Night Flyer by Olympic Orchids. When Victor decided to change the formula, the perfumer released it under her own brand, but changed the name due to trademark etc. And a quick note about their concentrations. The majority are actually only 20%, with the exception of a some that are 23% (T-Rex) to 25% (Snowy Owl & Musk Deer). Some are even as low as 12% (Cockatiel) or 14% (Cardinal). Victor used the term "extrait" on his bottles purely as marketing, which caused some people to complain because the concentrations weren't high enough to be an extrait (despite extrait never actually being an official concentration to begin with). Now that he has rebranded, he has removed the term from all the bottles.
Sloth and Rhinoceros are made by the same perfumer and I can see the hand in the style & making. From the ones I remember Dodo was the ultimate challenging scent: piercing sweat on top of a classic fougere. Have not tried the latest ones (Mouse, Cow, Tiger, etc) but it seems to me Victor transitioned from indie/artistic/caothic to mainstream/wearable scents, and you can see it in the choice of perfumers who he worked with
Hmm, yeah I got the big sample kit from Zoologist. The only one I got a full bottle of is indeed Hyrax. What really captured my attention is the bright and sunny hyacinth note, contrasted by the smokiness and ambery resins. Fantastic performance and it actually gets me random compliments. You should go easy on the trigger, however. It’s a masterpiece IMO.
You should review the Andromeda's Curse house for Halloween! I think it would be great! I got The Hermit, which smells like a cave/wet dirt by dries down to an incensey smell 🎃
I would be some interested to meet someone who wears one of the challenging ones from this house, see what it smells like on them and just see the kind of person who would rock one of those!

Then I discovered Squid-haattteedddd it-but it was the first fragrance in a long time that sparked a real reaction in me, beyond indifference or a passive, ‘this is nice.’ Squid led me to explore your house, and I’ve since found so many amazing scents, with Moth being my personal favorite. Please keep pushing boundaries. Your work is exceptional ❣️
My wife wanted me to try on Squid and Civet. We liked Squid, very ocean-y. Civet stayed on me for a day, through 2 showers. It was nuts. It's fine but was too overpowering till the first shower.
I bought samples of Koala and Snowy Owl. I really want to love these scents and the brand, but oh man, they are very strong and even after showering, I can’t get the scent out of my nose!

I had numerous sample sets and wore them all - some I bought as a travel spray some bottles and a few I do not like T-Rex makes me think of volcanos - love it Hyrax I wore to the office once - had my dog with me - I did not correct anybody who asked me to wash the dog😂😂😂 to me it smells like „Gülle“ - do not know the English word. Basically the poo off their cattle farmers spray over their land - I find this one funny - but hell no - do not ever want to wear that again. 😅
aaa i'm so exited for this! i've been eyeing cow for a while but it's so hard finding testers in europe. dragonfly is still my absolute favorite so far🩷
I tried cow in store and remember it being a very mildly sweet, gentle scent. Like a lightly sweet cream but not in a gourmand kind of way. I quite liked it. I think it's a safe bet from an intense line but scent is so personal. If you can't find it in person maybe get a sample size.
The few people who claim that Hyrax smells good or sexy are probably anosmic. There's no way anyone finds it pleasant. I agree its well done and it's a conceptual thing but that's about it.
Man, I so don’t understand some of your impressions. I wonder if that’s because I’ve only tried these on skin and not paper. Sloth is a gorgeous tart green scent to me - doesn’t smell remotely angry, it smells like the lush tropics. Huh. Interesting. I do hope you try the rest!!

You need to try Night Flyer by Olympic Orchids, it's the original Bat formulation! Would love to know how you feel they compare.
I love civet. It smells like a delicious cup of coffee to me.
I only have Cow and I have to be in the mood but I love the green freshness of it with just a slight lactonic feel.

I’m not getting the Hydrax hate. I immediately smelled boozy rich rotted fruit. I loved it but now I feel like something is wrong with me.
I love cow 🐮but on me it does not last at all. It becomes skin scent and no one can smell it.
