I've found Paulie is really important for the deck to swing control of the board. Since your leader can't attack, the deck really benefits from the cheap efficient removal
@@TheEgman you only need 7 don to get both effects, as the don ramp +1 happens before the k.o effect. The ramp you get from the field spell (which can be found with kokoro's search), tilestone & Peepey makes keeping up in don doable. It seems bad to run Peepey as he is only a 5k beater for 5 cost, but it's important for the additional ramping option. With this don upkeep, playing 2 9c Kaido's to close the game is consistent enough to run the card. I've also noticed most players don't swing for leader against this deck, they mostly swing against the 5c bodies you have constantly dealing damage. 4 Queen blockers seemed like enough in my testing, but hand size becomes an issue later.
Very cool of you to share the deck. Been looking into the cards more as I've been trying to get into the game. New set drops next week so hopefully I can find some packs from somewhere...these One Piece cards are not easy to find ATM 😬
Since your leader will usually be going minus don, what’s the point of playing 3 Magellan’s? It will always be too late in the game for that card to fully hurt the opponent. That card might as well be the missing gally-law guy you missed
Man I just wish they made him stronger because the idea behind the archetype is so cool but his problem is he loses hand really fast and then because of that has no way to protect his board so it's easy to put him in situations where he just can't attack on a turn

I’ve had a really hard time getting his effect fully off. Having 8 don is really tough for this deck.

I played double paulie on my 8 don turn the other day it felt good. Got 2 6k bodies out and removed a kuzan and koby off the board
Start with 8 don use stage use leader effect rest 2 don gain another active don and play another one felt so good haha

Really cool deck list love the videos
Galley la not gallery la
Nice decks, I'm gonna try to top this.
Godspeed!
Thanks for sharing. I find all the good purple decks need queen and he's hard or pricey to get up here
Yeah, Queen is pretty much the only staple Purple has ( which is probably why purple isn’t doing so hot ).

Yeah, that’s why I find Gild in the Film version so invaluable. I recommend trying it out
