I hope this is a cut from an upcoming album. Discovering Goose was one of the best things to happen to me in 2019. Seeing them live for the first time twice in Feb at the Troubadour will be two of the best things to happen to me in 2020.
I have been addicted to this tune since getting turned onto Goose this year. I love this version too. Hope to catch Goose live in 2020, please come to FL
Nice to see you guys doing it hopefully things stay on this trajectory for the band and by 2021 who knows dont let the money and the fame change you lol you guys rock see you selling out a stadium near me in the not to distant future happy new year the goose is great
Goose is on fire. Such good music. All I've been listening to lately. Not only is it great musicianship but the lyrics make you think and have depth to them
This is one of my favorite Goose songs, but of the recently released studio songs, this is my least favorite translation. I like the trippy intro, but the rest of the song is far too tight and restrained. It should feel loose, it needs room. The hedges on Wysteria Lane are not supposed to be rigid, they are supposed to "look different"...organic, even.
I will also add that it's not my place to say how this song is "supposed" to sound. Sorry, Goose. I do appreciate getting to hear the lyrics with a little more clarity. Mysterious, imaginative story. I dig it. And. I dig loosey Goosey live versions I have heard thus far. I hope I get to be there in person soon.
@@tedbradford940 Not to make too many comparisons to Phish, but a lot of Phish's studio stuff is waaaaay more polished than how it is performed live. Even with albums like Big Boat songs like Blaze On are rehearsed jam vehicles that don't translate well to the studio, but that is not their purpose. Goose is a live band, and they became popular through their live shows. But I do see what you mean, just thought I would add this in.
@@tedbradford940 I’d say this is probably the original sound and what you heard is how far the song has come during the live shows. I like to think of anything studio from jam bands to be the core of the song. I try to listen to that first before anything live so I can notice the changes.
The Goose is Loose!

Good bye Heather
If you're here, you have pretty good taste in music. I wonder what type of summer wines you sip on in the evenings......

This version is a bit too slow for my taste. I enjoyed the tempo from the Halloween event better. Looking forward to seeing you guys on the road soon.
