      @@IRONQUAD Hey man, it was a great video. But now my issue is that anytime I try to bind the XM+ receiver by holding it down and plugging in the battery, it shows a solid red and green light, and I am not able to bind. Any ideas?

    • @IRONQUAD
      @IRONQUAD  3 роки тому

      @@SH-ry2xi You need to check what FW is on your receiver. Solid red and green indicates the FW on the receive does not match your flight controller.
      There are FW's for the xm+ on the FrSky's website and there are videos on how to update them via external module pins (I personally didnt make a video on this) and most videos I seen are pretty well made.
      Hence why I "love" these receivers, they are somewhat hard to get them to work unless you purchased them as a BnF from a company.

      @@IRONQUAD Thanks man, I did actually purchase it as a BNF for my Protek25, it came with it installed. I'm actually midway through doing the update through my transmitter which is the jumper t-lite. Turns out that the Jumper T-lite doesn't use the standard external module pins.. so I think i'm out of luck for now...

      @@BongToker You need to find out which FW is flashed on the XM+ for the flywoo. My best guess is refer to the user manual or contact their customer support to find out. If the FW is pre 2.xx then its "X". If it is 2.x + then its X2

    Thanks for the info, I have a question to ask my drone when I turn on the arm switch. The motor will run immediately. Even though I haven't accelerated the accelerator yet, where do I have to go to fix it, I'm a newbie.

      Most people will recommend keeping this setting as you will have an indicator on if your motors are armed or not. However, if you really want it off... Its its "configs" tab and toggle on the "motor_stop" option

    Hello mate! I was wondering if you are using the cc2500 or jp4in1. Can you please explain me the difference? I want to bind the radio to a tyro 79s which has a frsky xm+ receiver, which option should I use cc2500 or jp4in1?

    • @IRONQUAD
      @IRONQUAD  3 роки тому

      The cc2500 has less protocols than the JP 4in1. Both versions should work with the tyro as it uses an FrSky protocol receiver

    • @IRONQUAD
      @IRONQUAD  2 роки тому +1

      #1 Make sure your Frsky receiver is ACCST. (You can check this on the receiver manual or if you bought it already installed, it should state it somewhere on the drone's manual or box)
      #2 Try both Frsky X and Frsky X2 (you select this in your radio's internal RF settings)
      #3 In Betaflight, make sure the right port is enabled in the "ports" tab and in the configuration tab under "receiver" it is selected to show "SBUS"
      #4 Note, sometimes you may need to go through the bind sequence twice. Also, make sure to power cycle the drone once you have bound.

    Hello, do you know if the XM+ mini shipping with ACCST 2.0 firmware from GetFpv will be able to bind with the t lite without any firmware modifications? Thanks!

    • @IRONQUAD
      @IRONQUAD  3 роки тому +1

      This is the difficult part about using xm+ as we won't know what FW is on it. Just make sure you order the ACCST version and try both 'Frsky X' and 'Frsky X2'.

    What would you suggest if neither frsky x nor x2 works?

    • @IRONQUAD
      @IRONQUAD  3 роки тому

      make sure your receiver is ACCST and not 'ACCESS'. It should be printed in white on the actual receiver.
      If it is, there are a lot of different things you need to check. I would first check betaflight settings to make sure the correct port and the receiver is set up on the config tab.
      If it is good, then switch serialrx_inverted to CLI to either ON or OFF (opposite of what your current setting is)
      If it still doesn't, work, flash the frsky receiver with the supplied FW on frsky website. There are several videos out there to show how to do this using the external bay on your tx.

    hi, i have a problem...
    after binding with my t lite, the green liight is on but when i check in beta flight there is no respond in receiver tab, my remote not sending any switch or gimbal movement. Do u know what's the problem? pls help...

    • @IRONQUAD
      @IRONQUAD  3 роки тому

      You may need to check your "ports" tab to see if your UART "serial RX" switch is turned on.
      To figure out which UART your receiver is on, look at the pad that the xm+ wires are soldered to. You will see something like T1 or R1 (whatever the number it is soldered on, that is the UART port that needs to be turned on in betaflight)
      If the correct UART is set up, then check the configuration tab and go to receiver... It should be SBUS on the 2nd drop down.

      1) Did you buy the XM+ separately or is it a receiver that was attached to the aircraft?
      2) On the product box, does it say ACCST or ACCESS? (If it is ACCESS, it will not work) You may be able to flash ACCST firmware to your "XM+" and other UA-camrs have covered updating FW to your XM+
      3) If it is ACCST, try to bind (T-Lite bind menu) using "Frsky X" and "Frsky X2"
      4) If both doesn't work, then plug in quad (if itis a quadcopter) to the configurator and check if receiver is on "SBUS" under the "configuration tab" and in the section "receiver"
