Brandy for winter. I am partial to RUM right now.
I stocked up on batteries on Amazon, it was cheaper than Wal-Mart. I got extra cr123 batteries and cr2032 batteries. They're used for high powered flashlights, lasers, and reddots. Gota be gun ready always, with plenty of spares for friends
I dig it
Bars of soap and baking soda are also necessary.
I agree
Thank you for the information.
You’re welcome. Thanks for watching.
THKS
Thanks for watching
I already told some people to prepare but most of them told me that if something happens they just come to my house
lol I get that from people too.
It’s part of the reason I started this channel…don’t want them all coming to me. I’d rather teach them to be self reliant. 👍
Great come on over just bring 700 pounds of food per person and a rifle with 1000 rounds of ammo.
People say that as if they are joking, but they are dead serious. If you refuse them, they will come back, and they won't be asking so nicely. Either way is a lose-lose situation for you. Share half your preps, or be forced to.
@@amp5291 Unless I’m highly trained in the use of my firearms and they aren’t. Not trying to say that in a cocky way, but most people really don’t know how to use guns tactically.
Tarps or plastic sheeting, Never forget Duct tape , my favorite is Gorilla tape &. Cortgage,
yep. the duct tape is in the tool bag...in the video. Thanks for the comment.
Thank you for the video didn't think about the liquor so I'm going to get that one
cool. thanks for watching.
good video
Thanks
I would add to the list, lighters, yeast and sugar, buy a distiller as that can remove radioactivity, dirt and impurities whilst also making alcohol for barter or cleaning. Buy solar lights and cameras incase of electric shortage, a solar charger of some description, ham radio, walkie talkies, a machette, crossbow, a supressor for your rifle, NBC suit and mask etc with fullers earth cat litter and a geiger counter should anything go that way. (China is pushing for war). Night vision, easy to make with an old night mode camera and an infra red torch on your gun, im a gamekeeper in the UK and that is how i shoot vermin. Buy a 22lr, you can carry more rounds and with subsonic ammunition wont have a loud report (hang up your dead vermin on a gibbet line when you need to feed your chickens and let the maggots drop out for your chickens to eat.. Screws and nails, old hand tools, veg seeds, mashed potato, pasta, beans, tins, surgical spirit, vinegar, alcohol to trade, grow weed to trade and for certain health issues such as glucoma, the list is endless, but these are some of the things i have been doing. Hope something there helps someone.
distilling for making moonshine has been on my list for awhile. I need to learn how to do that.
@@EverydayReady It has made me feel better about not being able to buy all the expensive filters and what not. There are no peripheral purchases needed which makes it sustainable which is a true prep item in my opinion. I live near the beach and i know i can desalinate that water if desperate. Try making the applejack moonshine, i lost a few hours after i sampled it. It isn't very legal in the UK and the distiller came from China marked as a chinese cooking pot LOL.
Duct tape, baggies plus precious metals, coffee and tobacco
all good things
If you stock items with intent to barter, you're not really properly stocked up.
Do you really want to barter and reveal you have surplus stash to barter? Just makes you a target.
Not necessarily that you would…just that you could, if you had to. 👍
Pure grain alcohol goes ALOT FURTHER THEN WHISKEY WILL
Soap or sanitize wipes cheap peroxide and alcohol must be clean. And can use around the house
yep, good tips.
But a few medium size bottles of dishwashing detergent. Last year there were times that I could only buy the brand and bottle size of what the store had on the shelf. Buy a few bottles of what you like the most.
good idea
What's the shelf life of batteries?
10 years on good quality newly manufactured batteries.
@@halcooper6059 Thanks Hal. 😉
Was that a Mike the Cop cameo?
all of these are good suggestions though I disagree with the priority order.
Thanks. I didn’t put them in priority order. It’s simply just a list. An incomplete list at that. LOL thanks for watching.
@@EverydayReady yeah, from 1 day's ready, to a month, then 6 months then years and the longer the time frame the more complicated the prep becomes.
My suggestion would be to stock all items equally so that none are expended before others and to follow the rule of 3s and then Maslow's hierarchy of needs to determine stock amounts.
@@humansustainability thanks for commenting. Appreciate it.
As a radio ham I stock pile. Wire and parts for radio repair in EMP SAFES so tools and batteries are stored. Generator and fuel will be forced away from my home. So solar pannels and storeage BATTERYS. Are my goto. Pick up your trash when you get things. I mean every thing (the lazy pill head next door showed his bass verry early. ) In the pandemic. As your dear neighbor " is watching" even to note down "every thing" thanks for good show. Rem: WAR LORDS SHINE IN DISASTERS.( ONLY TO THERE ADVANTAGE ). AND F EVERY BODY ELSE. GOOD LUCK GOD BLESS ALL.
Thanks for watching.
Sorry I have trouble bartering things that can be shot back at me. Just me talkin.....
You funny.
You're not wrong. My intention is to only use ammo with "inner circle" people like close friends and fam.
@@EverydayReady THAT makes sense.
Pro tip. Never barter ammo to a person who has none. Why u might ask. Bcuz the odds are if they wanted to kill u and take ur shit they would have already done. But a person with no ammo might be waiting for a force multiplier. Aka ammo.
To your very good list I would certainly add Vitamins & Minerals. Supplements will come in handy when we're all living on a slow-starvation diet.
.
Also... a copy of THE HOLY BIBLE. It will provide hope and the greatest Wisdom in the world, until He returns to save His own.
completely agree on all that. this list was not meant to be comprehensive. Just some of the things I highly recommend.
Went to Biltmore in NC last week on vacation. My son went to pay for souvenirs. with cash and they would not take it. If it would have been me, I would not have purchased the stuff.
For Americans.
1. Guns
2. Drugs
3. Cheeseburger and donuts.
4. Beer opener.
5. Beer
6. Lazy chair for the garden.
7. More beers
😂 drop the donuts from 3 and this is a great list. #winkwink
Found a solar powered radio ( also uses batteries) on Amazon for $29.00
Hospitol masks now weve got the black fungus going around .
lol #notscared of #plandemics
190proof vodka not whisky
or both lol...I enjoy whiskey on occasion.
Be careful stockpiling too many batteries as they do have a shelf life. Might pay to keep minimum stock & have it on yr last minute shopping list to grab as everything is going to shit.
Agree. Thanks for watching.
Don’t get regular batteries get rechargeable one with a solar charger
@@janicehavens1395 both. 👍
What will you do when big Gov. begins confiscating your caches after US becomes a permanent federal state?
how do you suppose they will find them?
Remember, every civilized society is only nine meals from Total anarchy.
Yes, true
Yes, but if everyone practiced Intermittent fasting, that would not be true. Try eating less. ... and less meals per day. People panic over missing a meal. Try missing a day full of meals and see how much healthier you are. We, the people, eat too much!
@@caroletta451 I agree with this as well. My longest fast so far has been 4 days. After the first 36hrs it get surprisingly easy, and I felt so much better. Inflamation and gut issues completely disappear.
@@EverydayReady Serious kudos. I am working on 36 hours. Four days would be awesome. If people only knew that you won't die if you don't eat for 12,1 5. or `18 hours or more.
@@caroletta451 Great mention. I've been doing it for 16 months and dropped 120 pounds on the carnivore diet. We can get by just fine on one meal a day.
Cocoa and oatmeal folks...cocoa and oatmeal.⭐😁⭐
Now I want nobake cookies
I would never barter bullets, one might come back to harm you.
Yep in my mind I’d only trade Ammo with family or close friends.
Shoe glue, fix a flat, shoelaces in various sizes, underwear
great things to have around.
I would add one more to your list and that would be salt.
agree. that's a very important thing too. This was definitely not a complete list. lol
Don't use plastic the ALC will eat thru them over time
Thanks
🤔👍
thanks for watching
Have newspapers stocked in case you run out of TOILET PAPER😂😂😂.
lol
Can you take pills that are expired???
Yes but I they lose their potency after a while.
I would not barter ammo...... worst case senerio the person you give ammo to comes back and shoots you with your ammo and takes everything you have. my ammo is mine, plain and simple !!!
Yeah I agree. In my head, I was referring to really close people. Like inner circle people would be the only ones I barter with.
