The White Mountains have always been my favorite place in AZ. Since I was 16, that was 1975, I had been heading to these mountains to camp with my buddies in my 1951 pickup truck since I was old enough to drive. Our favorite camping was usually on the White Mountain Apache Reservation along the north fork of the White River just off 260 on the road to Hawley lake. We'd catch our limit of trout just about each day. This camping area was closed by the Apache reservation many years ago now. Oh my, how the area has changed. Our little two lane road through Pine top and Lakeside is now a multilane highway and the fires that have ravaged some areas, simply heart breaking. I still love the area and frequent the Caldwell cabin with my children and grand children. Last year I got to fly our Super Cub up there and camp out with my friend and forest ranger from down here in the Cochise Stronghold area. We landed on an old abandoned airstrip just south of the Sprucedale Dude Ranch east of Buffalo crossing. It was a very special trip as the folks from the ranch showed up quite excited about seeing an aircraft once again land there, something they said they had not seen since they were children. They took us back to the ranch and made us lunch, handed us the truck keys to head back to our aircraft to set up our camp, insisting that we return for dinner. Thanks for taking us with you sir! I hear these mountains calling me again.

I remember waiting for each of these episodes be posted. It's really cool to watch all of them as one video. I think I've watched this series 4 times now.

I live up in Show Low area and drive a Land Rover Discovery sport and it managed well on the White Mountain forest trails in 2020, when I went down and took the Chrysatile Mine to White tank road and it did not have enough clearance to get over many of the larger rocks so I had to turn around since I didn't like the sound of rocks hitting the bottom of the vehicle. Wish I would found this video earlier to see the Seneca Road Regal mine trail. Beautiful experiences. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful area!! So sad about the fire, people that are responsible for starting forest fires should be heavily fined & jail time for all the damage & wildlife lives lost 🤬, but thanks for sharing & caring

I think it's a good idea. There are many people out there who don't have a short attention span.

I guess it would depend on why he is making videos. If it's for him or for everyone. The majority of people going on yt videos are looking for a 5 to 15 minute video. So if he is looking for views, short is the way to go. His stats of his long vids compared to short will show that. I've subbed to him for a long time now cause he reminds me alot of myself. Man I loved off reading so much I got 40 acres at chevelon canyon so I would be right in it. But I just dont usually have an extra hour when I get on to yt for 1 video. Would be nice to get more vids from him

Well the stats are astonishing yes … but there are also millions of different types of people to accommodate. 100’s of thousands of views and millions of clicks on the pics….. so yes the stats will say a lot …. But he produced 100’s of videos. This series was originally produced on multiple parts for the short videos. There is alotta demand for lengthy undisturbed footage as well. So sit back grab some popcorn or a snack and toss back some cold ones. Enjoy the series - more to come ..!!!! 👍🏻
