It has been roasted and can be used as a Plant taiwanese medicine and can also be used as snacks.

포멜로 과일 속 파내고 안에 설탕및 허브 과일등 끓인거 채워 넣고 굳힌거예요. 저건 포멜로 향인가봄.:) 굳이 이렇게 하지 않고도 실온에서 굳혀 만든 똑같은 갈색 캔디?카라멜?도 있어요. 식후에 소화에 도움 되라고 많이 먹더라구요.

I lived in Taiwan for 11 years.. here two tips for you: 1) "it looks like a fruit" it may not mean that's a plain fruit that you never heard of, mostly likely it's not a fruit.. 2) "it looks like chocolate" most DEFINITELY it's not chocolate, but some kind of smashed and treated beans.
