Oh Jesus Christ 🙌🏼 This is exactly what I was looking for 🤩 You saved my life Dear Willy😃💖 Embroider the sides was my headache 😮💨😵💫😵💫😵💫 God bless you 🙏🏼
Hey guys, what heat gun do you recommend? I currently have the Ricoma EM10-10 - will these type of print placements (side) be possible to do on my machine given I have the right measurements?
Hi there, unfortunately the EM-1010 does not have the capability to turn the cap all the way to the side as shown in this video. However if it is an unstructured cap there are other ways to hoop the cap to embroider on the side. Any heat gun would work, we don't have a preferred brand!
This was a great video but I’m afraid I may need tech support. My machine is a tc 1501 so I should be able to do this right? My CAP preset on my machine is set to 260/60. You stated that we need to set our frame at 270/90. So I went in and adjusted the frame dimensions on my machine and oh my god the noise it mad while tracing sent my husband running to me. Scared out of our minds so we put the dimensions back to 260/60, traced again and the noise was gone..........of course I never stitched out the design after that. Any suggestions, please?
I know this video is old, but can you upload the design template. For some reason I can't get it to work from my digitizing software to machine? You also say the box should be 270mm wide but that is not wide enough. Should it be 360mm?
Hi there, I’m awaiting my CHT2-1502 - how do I know if it’s “wide” (whatever that means!)? This would be great if the machine could do 270deg. Let me know! TIA...
@@ricomatv But that's not the same as having the design have a center point based on the cap hoop from the start. You have to manually set it from the panel.
How do you only do one side. After i save the DST file it never lines up in the center. I would like to line up the center main log like normal and then let it do the other side too. Any thought?
Yea i changed all that and in the software made it bigger but im doing both a center logo and a right side name. How do i set it up so I don’t have to guess if the main front logo will hit the center seam. Thanks for your fast response i do have a call back with support but have not heard back yet.
Does anyone have any idea of the standard spacing between the cap front and where a side logo should safely be placed? Clearly all hats are shaped different so there is no "right answer" but I would like to know what other people do

I tried the design and my TC and the Cap area is too small. I think that needs to increase in order to work.. Any updates on the instructions Oram I missing something??
WHEN I Make a hat hoop on chroma with the parameter that you state it all looks good on my computer and then when I move it to the mt1501 its always to big for the hat???? Any suggestions? Do I need to change parameters?

WOW that's awesome and you make it look so easy. Need to try this out. I have 1501 TC and never knew this
Glad you liked it!
Thanks for Including the RDE format.. This is the only format Ricoma Must include!!!
You bet!
I thought RiCOMA machines only reads .dst format.
Is there any advantage on .rde file format?
Can't find any info on this.
Cheers!
@@pedroviana9135 i think the rde format is the chroma file. The dst is the format the designs gotta be saved in in order for the machine to read it.

I own a MT-1501, How are you able to embroider such a large design on the front of the cap. How do I make adjustments to the embroidery area?
Hi there, if you need help, you can contact service and they will walk you through it. Ricoma.com/us/tech-support
Thanks for the tutorial! I’ve only tried one hat so far on my MT-1501 but I can’t wait to do this💜💜🍾🍾
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video, question that i have. how do you attach the the cap station to the base of the machine. I own a MT-1502 thank you in advance

Something may be snagged on your hoop causing the bind. I’d recommend contacting support to walk you through the proper parameters to set
I did and we sorted it out. Thanks!
@@sugare71hi i have the tc 1501 as well do you mind sharing the dimension for the frame?
Thanks for this video. Will this design work with the EM1010?
The em-1010 does not have the 270 degree rotation feature.
what hoop did you on the machine for this? the hat hoop i see is 260x70
Can this be done on an em1010? Also is there any new accessories that we can purchase so that we have more of hat clearance on the em1010?
EM-1010 won’t be able to do all 3 sides in one run. It only goes eye brow to eye brow, while the 15 needle commercial machines go ear to ear

I appreciate that!

Una pregunta a cuánta densidad pone la puntada en el programa? A se me deforma el bordado y la gorra esta bien sujeta

Ponemos la densidad a 0.3 por la mayoria de el diseño. por el parte de 3d ponemos 0.1.
AWESOME! Very Helpful. I've been looking for hats with this type of material. What is it called and where can I get some at a reasonable price?
You can check garmeo.com and customize your hats there
So I can make my machine to do that or the person who making me my digitizing?
Yes, you can!

At 7:18 i see the design is centered on your machine. Is this something you set in chroma, is it possible to set the center point?
You can do this on the machine's panel.

Yes you can set the center point to 0,0 for your design on chroma

at 2:53 your grid has three lines going vertical and horizontal lining the design perfectly. How can I add those extra solid lines in blue?
Hi! Please send us an email so we can provide you with more info ---> service@ricoma.com
Do I also have to change the hoop size on machine so is the same 🤔🤔🤔
You might have to adjust the parameters
On the TC Cap hoop is setup at 260 x 60 do I need to add a custom hoop on machine?

I used those dimensions. I need front panel and left panel but my stuff does not fit in the hoop ( on the screen) like it needs to.
