Tectone isnt wrong about One Piece being drawn out. Like the early episodes are like from the 90's and they are just old(they want to make a remake), then somewhere 10 years ago the story they do like a 4 minute recap every 25 minute episode, which also include a 2 minute intro song and a 2 minute outro song. And the last 4 years, they do the dragonball stuff, where a single fight can take over like 50 episodes.
One Piece is my favorite story of all time, but it has its flaw in the anime, which is to be expected, since the anime is over 25 years old.
I hope the netflix remake makes people reconsider watching one piece, such good world building
the og eps have a very charming art style. the pacing is the real issue.
hopefully the remake is actually good and finishes the whole story without the pacing issues. it has the potential to be top 5 if done right.
"One Pace" is the answer to this problem. Its a fan creation that eliminates all of that dumb recap and filler stuff like cutting out anything that messed up the pacing like unnecessary recaps every episode or long flashbacks that aren't relevant and really makes it more enjoyable.
@@ukahen5825 Yeah but I honestly wouldn't use it for most arcs cause you miss out on a lot of comedy especially pre timeskip. I think one pace should only be used fishman island, dressrosa and whole cake
Season 1 of one punch man is one of my favorite seasons of any show ever. It came out right when I was super tired of the usual dbz type shows and it’s such a breath of fresh air.

A good story doesn’t need 500 episodes. Yes. One piece is loved because it’s 1200 episodes in and the story keeps getting better. Vs most animes that have shit stories in 12 episodes.
Not going to lie, Lacari had such a good anime list. Berserk, black lagoon, odd taxi, steins gate, monster, dororo. Also, VInland Saga is fucking amazing too.

im fairly new to anime, i only watched berserk, vinland saga, castlevania and jujitsu kaisen (because of toji)
Berserk and Vinland Saga is my all time fave, such a rich deep somewhat relatable story.

Season 2 is good, but many people just wanted another season 1 with a lot of action and viking brutality.

HxH is so good, it ruined shounen for me.
It raised the bar in thoughtful and smart fights. Chars get into situations and wonder how they get out of it and the author comes up with very clever and creative outs. The stakes always feel real. The deconstructions it does. Great chars and backgrounds and unique villains. You can't go back after you experience it. It builds out a great world you want the chars to explore more of. The anime makes you feel like there's so much more to learn about the world and stronger peopleb than the main chars to find out about, and the chars are only a small part of it this world they're progressing through, and that feels exciting.
But it's mainly the superb magic systems the author works out and sticks to and the clever ways he has his chars fight; it makes other shounen look cheap and lazy/uncreative
mushoku is a good anime manga and light novel

Totally disagree about the Death Note final episode. I think that was a great ending to the story. The last third of the show had some weaker points overall, but the finale was great imo.

That show was like a 2 month meme, and never talked about again. Just one example. Hello, Pokemon anyone?! That show inspired an entire generation to watch anime, and become gamers.
Edit: Problem with Pokemon is it's so globally famous, and it's been around so long people hardly even view it as an anime anymore.

Violet Evergarden not being on the list as a masterpiece of art is a tragedy. Personally I thought the story was dumb but the art and music kept me going. One piece has huge pacing issue and a lot of fillers, repeats, rehash yada yada... the meat per episode is mere 10-20 min max. Stopped watching after like ep80 or so. The candle villian guy episodes really annoyed me in particular with all the yapping
