You, my friend, are awesome!, Great videos. Two days after taking delivery of my R-Line and I’m trying to fathom everything out. What a great way to learn. Subscribed and eager for more.
That is great, an improvement on the older tiguan cruise control, as it wasn’t acc. Just waiting for mine to arrive..with the factory now being built as we speak. This R line, looks like a real improvement over the Mk1 which i have, having said that, i still love mine.
Your video literally answered my question in the first 12 seconds, I’ve been looking through loads of Tiguan videos trying to figure out if the boot is big enough for my German shepherd. Answered now! Time to buy one 😂
Really well made and brilliant camera work. Took delivery yesterday (Tiguan R Line 4 motion) and it has so many gadgets I'm watching YOUR video's to fine out how to work them all. Ther entertainment system is out of this world!!!!! And by the way, your dog is beautiful, bet you have some great walks over he heath!
I came here to discuss my problem with my tiggy 2k17 but bliemy i ended watching your all vids about vw tiguan . And guess what bruv. I get to know more about my own tiggy after watching ur vids . Thanks bruv.
Excellent video. Shame there weren't more UK based videos explaining a real world example like this. You cover all the stuff normal people would want to see. I really like the feature that it wont undertake a car. My adaptive cruise isn't that clever, but i'm getting an Arteon R-Line in March which, I think, is the same as this Tiguan
Great well explained video. The manual is confusing, so having the ACC explained in layman terms is very helpful. I have a 2018 Golf GTD and as yet have not tried setting this system up. Listening to your easy to understand review I'm going to give it a try out tomorrow on my way to York. Many thanks.
Really enjoying your videos , clear , easy to understand, thank you lots , learned lots of stuff about Tiguan R Line , keep up the good work mate , All the best , Barry
Thanks so much for all your videos. I have learnt so much about my Tiguan! Are you able to do one on the safety features e.g. emergency braking? Would be awesome. Thanks!
Thanks for this video, I'm seriously considering getting the Tiguan r line but it's difficult to find videos explaining the systems this simply and this clearly. Thanks again. Ps Frank looks like a cracking dog!!
Great videos mate. I've got my MY18 R-Line coming in 3 days, in Rosy Red. Really excited and anticipating some fun times. Oh, and my wife says to give Frank a big cuddle for her... Appreciate your knowledge.
Thanks for the informative video, I pick up my R-Line Tech in August, videos like this help get a head start with all the technology. With regards to the adaptive cruise control, if you approached a t-junction & there was a vehicle already stationary at the junction will this register with the acc and brake automatically or does the driver have to brake manually ? Many thanks.
Jonathan Bell Thanks for the comments. In answer to your question it really depends what speed you’re approaching at. It will brake but it tends to slam the brakes on so I wouldn’t recommend it.
Great video, thanks. Did you get the 150ps or 190ps? Also, how responsive do you find the acceleration on initial pick up with the DSG transmission? Cheers
Great video. Has been very helpful. I originally bought the 18 plate manual 2wd but have decided to return that to get the 4motion auto which I pick up next week, however, it is the 67 plate and I’ve noticed has no USB port in the back and only one in the front. You had three USB ports in your car, is this an extra? Should I be worried that the car may be lacking other features?
That does seem strange to be honest. Maybe it was an early registered ‘67 plate. The second USB port was added from November time 2017 along with progressive steering as standard on the R-line model
@@kaieshabish22 Nice one for replying. So do you think I could be lacking the progressive steering also? It was registered September 7th 2017. Would this put you off buying this particular vehicle? It still has the 12v socket in back so can buy some adaptors for extra usb. I worry if these are missing what else might be missing. I’ve really enjoyed your videos, you put things across in a very clear way, much easier than reading the instruction manual so thank you very much. The car is “used approved” has full service history. 1 owner, only 16000 miles, 2 years warranty, 2 years roadside assistance, 2 years mot cover, next two services minor/major thrown in, £27400. @@johntunnard7328 The price of them has gone through the roof recently because of covid and the micro chip shortage. To be honest if it doesn’t have it you won’t miss it.
Does the normal cruise control stop working due to the snow or just the adaptive cruise control? Because it seems like that would be annoying if you had to stop to clean the badge to use the cruise control.
Hashmat Ali Yes, or if it’s raining heavy, it’s really annoying, but it’s only in bad weather, never happened on my old Mk 7 Golf. Don’t let that put you off buying it though

Thanks for another great video. You've really helped fuel my anticipation of the R Line I've ordered. It would be great to know what options your Tiguan has and your opinion on them. Especially as the R Line I test drove had no added options and I've still got time to tweak my order.
Ben Dwyer Thanks for your comments. I have no options added to my car but if I had one regret it would be the heated windscreen, I really miss that from my previous Ford Kuga. Good luck with your new car

Great videos, I use them rather than looking at the manual!
