When adept evasion begin hold left control stick turned onto monster position. With Diablos charge is quite easy because is always right behind you. In other situation maybe is needed to learn exactly where to evade and where the monster stop when he finish his attack ( Zinogre spinning tail attack for example ).
Well, it takes some time to learn monster's hit box, then if you switch from 3rd to 1st person wiew after target lock the aim will be fixed on the way where camera is looking in that moment. It's easier to try then explain 😉

😅🤣 its the TV screen. Just needed a support for selfy and set camera zoom/light as well.
