I’ve been a fence sitter on Justin Fitzpatrick shoe styles for the past two years. I’m not totally in love with some of the silhouettes on his shoes, but from everything I have read and seen, the man behind the brand is a great, great guy with a passion for beautiful, quality shoes that is extremely admirable. I do like these loafers a lot, the color is beautiful and that pitched heel is amazing .. well done!!
Just received these today and I will say, they’re a knock put pair of loafers. This last is a bit tight in the mid foot though. Probably just need a good break in. Really great operation Justin has out of Soho. Plan to go down real soon and talk to him in person. My next purchase will be a MTO pair of shoes. Already have the Sammamish in blue suede (killer pair of shoes) and the Eskapa in suede teal (stunning). The St Helens and LPB last respectively fit perfect. The TMG last on the Meridian’s may need a tweak or so. Huge fan of his. Even called me when I made the order. A real gentleman.
Hey Wi Shoeguy, I recently came across your channel and must say it’s been great for helping me figure out what I like in shoes. Only problem is, I’m 18 and don’t have the money for many of your high end shoes. Do you have any recommendations for the best value split toe derbies and adelaides?
Check out my Pinterest page by price tiers. There are a few brands mentioned that to split toes well that are under $350. Blkbrd, RayMar (though they recently raised their prices), and Meermin. You should also check out the following entry level brands. TLB, Skolyx, Lof&Tung, Carlos Santos and Sons of Henrey. I don’t have any of their shoes I. This category now but I have and they’re very nice.
I ordered a smooth/suede combo from Allen Edmonds last fall but they then emailed me saying they couldn’t fulfill the order. Was looking forward to wearing them, too. Will try again this fall.
that is a piece of art. Nice.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t include J Fitzpatrick. He has Adelaides but last I checked he had apron shoes but not split toes.
I’m love the combination of smooth and suede. But never buy one, because in my head I’m afraid to get creme on the suede when I shine them. 😓
I feel you. I’ve started using my fingers to apply the polish and feel much better about it.
