This review is based on nearly six months of usage. I've loved the S24 Ultra and am sad to send it back to AT&T. Do you have one? What do you think after all this time?
Such a great review, enjoyed how you dug into the "how to use it" with practical hands-on examples. I'm still on the Z Fold and enjoy quite a few of the same features but the S24 Ultra is on the Mrs Christmas list! This might have swung it...
Depends. The S25 Ultra is likely to be announced end of January 2025, so near enough to think about waiting. But Samsung promises 7 years of updates on this phone, so if you get a good deal, this is ABSOLUTELY worth buying now.
Heavy, big, requires two hands most of the time to use it. You have to be very careful all the time, never hold it with anything else in your hand, keep a firm grip, treat it as if it was very fragile (it is not, but do not test its limits of abuse). But i love it and have zero regrets for buying it. The immersion when looking at the squared s24 ultra display is fantastic. I'm sad that the S25 ultra screen will have rounded corners, they should keep a squared screen and just make the frame a little bit less sharp on the corners.
@@JG-oj9jz Did you read my comment _"But i love it and have zero regrets for buying it."_ it's the heaviest mobile I ever had. My previous S20 FE weighs 190 g (6.70 oz), s24 ultra weighs 232 g (8.18 oz). It's noticeable. I'm not complaining, just a heads up because many people will not adapt to it.
Marketing circle to search as AI ... Interesting decision. It's basically just a new gesture to open Google lens. With a few EY elements changed and added features. Google lens uses just as much "ai".... It's a nice nifty shortcut to get to Google lens rather than having to do a screenshot and then open it but it saves you 3 to 5 seconds. I don't really think of that as being a benefit of an LLM.
Well, AI is much more than LLM which really doesn't apply here. Large Language Models would be more applicable to some of the other features on the device (summarization, text generation, etc). This is as much about AI as it is when you upload an image to ChatGPT and query it based on what it sees. Or Claudes new Computer Control that analyzes a computer screen in order to carry out actions on it. It's AI based visual understanding. Not to mention, Google Lens was billed as an AI tool from the day it launched. Which could be seen as just Google marketing, but in this case I'd say it's pretty accurate.
I have S22 Ultra, may be upgrading it to S25U. One thing I don't like about the camera is the fact that they took out 10x zoom. Did you notice a big difference between optical 10x zoom vs digital 10x zoom on the S24 Ultra? You probably didn't have access to compare the two, but I'm looking forward for your input.
Definitely did not have access to compare between the two. But like I said (and showed) in the video. 10x crop on the S24U was pretty solid. It wasn't always perfect, particularly on some long distance sceneries. But it did a pretty solid job most of the time!

I bought one last week, and I am loving it more and more every day.

That camera is ridiculous! So many beautiful pics and the video from the One Plus watch review is outstanding! 👏🏻 Thanks for sharing!
SO happy we had this camera with us on the trip. It was a delight to use on vacay!

Right on! I think you'll enjoy it, even though we are creeping up on the release of the NEXT Ultra!
Awesome video as always! :). Keep up the great work! I really enjoy your reviews!
Thanks for watching!
Isn't worth buying November 2024? Please

Loved this video. I've always had samsung, but only J or A series phones. I'm so hyped for the S25 as it'll be my first S series phone. 😎
Right on I know you'll love it!

Is it having battery drain and heating issues ? Does it have grainy display issues in low brightness as reported by the users
Not mine no
@@student7173 I'm not witnessing either of these on mine.
