As an adult who has decided I want to start wearing make up, thank you for explaining what a product is for. I'm slowly getting more confident and stepping into the make up world
I am with Rachel Tiegs… I am 44 years and I was a TomBoy my entire life and now that my kids are older I have my free time to take care of myself and start wearing makeup…. Thank you so much for these videos…. I have been following you and learning so much…. And starting to feel my confident applying and wearing makeup… 😃
Same here. Late to beauty makeup scene. I'm 49 and basically started an interest in my early 40s. Still learning just not too confident in what I'm doing. It's fun tho and that I enjoy. Always looking for SUPER easy fool proof basic routine!!
This is the difference between a professional and an influencer. I love the quality of this content, and I feel like I actually learned something (many things actually) and learned why she picked products for this video. This video was such a breath of fresh air! This video was amazing and so well thought out.
I’m over 40 and have stopped wearing makeup due to being in a bit of a slump in life. I found your video for the non makeup wearer and got inspired! But last night I was planning on going to target today to hopefully get some dupes and I wake up to this video!!! You read my mind! Thank you 🙏
I'm 40, and I used to be makeup obsessed, but have been in a slump as well; doing makeup when you're young is really different when you're a bit older! I have to learn new products, techniques etc for my current face.
Same here ladies. I was obsessed with makeup and would never go out the door without it on and life threw me a few curveballs and I lost my mojo but since watching Nikki and a couple of other channels I’m getting my zest back. I just have to put all this knowledge I’ve gained into practice ❤
Thank you so much Nikki for your amazing videos!!! ❤❤❤ I am in my early 40s and never learned how to properly apply make up and I tried so many different products that just collect dust in my make up drawer. I also paid for few make up lessons that I never seem to be able to replicate the next day. I tried to watch different online tutorials but they were still confusing to me. To make the story short, you are the best make up teacher I came across!!! Thank you so much for everything you do!!! Especially for all of us non make up wearers out there!!! Your passion and talent as well as good heart is through and through!!!
I’m the same age as you and have definitely scaled back the amount of makeup that I now use. I like a natural, put together look using drugstore makeup. This video was perfect, and the results are gorgeous.
I'm a 50+ non-makeup wearer. I saw your non-makeup tutorial, and found it very helpful. This drug store video is a good introduction to using make-up before committing to higher priced items. Thank you for doing this video.
I injured my back at work (I’m an RN) over 20 years ago and with chronic pain I went without make up (at home) for years. By using these techniques I can put on a bit of make up and feel much better about myself! It lifts my spirits.
I adore these no makeup videos! Can you please do a makeup tutorial video for mature skin, or product recommendations that are least likely to settle into wrinkles?
For anyone wondering, clicking the links right now and not considering any discount codes: if you buy every single product she mentions it would cost $109.79 (no tax included)… if you ask me to have an entire routine ready for 110 seems like a pretty good deal :)
Sometimes with drugstore products the colours and textures makes things difficult and you need top flight techniques. I love that you are showing us easy techniques and top performance colours and products. Your product lists are spot on. You have such a warm and supportive approach to using and playing with makeup. You encourage us all to be more confident. Thank you
I just bought and applied blush and bronzer on my own for the very first time...did I look like a matryoshka for a hot minute? Yes. Did I manage to fix it (It actually ended up wearable), understand my mistakes, and be encouraged enough to try again tomorrow? Hell YES! Thank you very much for this tutorial. I think that it really live up to its title of makeup for non-wearers. Easy to understand, I didn't feel overwhelmed at all, uses few simple products, and gives some options to make adjustments to ones own preperences. Love It!!!
I’ll be 24 at the end of this month & I’ve always been so interested in makeup, but I’ve never really known how to apply it correctly & I have the hardest time following tutorials. I have so many products that I’ve purchased out of the hope that I’ll magically know how to use them one day 😂 Thank you for being so informative while also being easy to listen to! Finally, some looks that I am actually able to recreate!
I wanted to thank you for your incredible makeup tutorial videos. As a mature woman who has never worn makeup before, I lacked confidence to try. But your videos have given me the courage to step outside my comfort zone and give it a shot. Your expertise and warm teaching style have inspired me to embrace new possibilities. Thank you for empowering beginners like me to explore the world of makeup. I can't wait to see where this journey takes me.
SO good! I just turned 60 and have started to learn about how to do my makeup just in the last few years! It's a whole different ballgame with mature skin😃These tips are so helpful! You can almost substitute "mature skin" with "non- makeup wearer"! xx from Bend, OR
Wow!! I’ve been using the Elf wow brow on and off for the past year but never thought to turn the wand and deposit color. I learn something new every time I tune in. Tfs. Love drugstore tutorials
What!!! I remember i left a comment on the previous Luxury video and requested for a drugstore version of the same and here you are with a brand new video on the same like gurl. Thanks from the bottom of my heart. I am going to be enjoying this video so much, thanks for always recommending bombshell products. Love your channel ❤
I just wanted to let everyone know that if you happen to have Kroger grocery stores in your area, they make a dupe for both the Supergoop Glowscreen SPF 40 and Glow oil SPF 40. I have only tried the one that claims to be a dupe to the Glowscreen and I love it! Dr. Dray talked about it on her channel as well.
I love the revlon cream eyeshadows. Praline is another beautiful color, that is still kind of neutral but a little lighter if anyone is looking. It’s my favorite shade. Crème brûlée is a pretty champagne if you want something like that, still neutral which I love. I think I have like 6 shades. They last all day!
I love your videos, and I have found with your help my perfect combination for no make up make up. For a 60 year old flight attendant that was critical. Just wanted to reach out and say thank you for making my life simpler and making me look appropriately beautiful❤❤❤❤
I have never used foundation ever. I’ve always been concealer blush, mascara, and brows - and maybe a bit of shadow. I am 50 now, a little more into makeup to look fresher, and I so appreciate your recent videos. Thank you so much for the high quality content.
I’m a makeup wearer and UA-cam suggested this video and although I’m skilled in makeup, I really enjoyed this video! Who doesn’t love more subtle natural makeup looks? ❤
You are a terrific beauty guru.. Thanks for all these great tips. I’m 72 and a huge drugstore fan. I love doing my makeup, but I’m going to try this as a new idea to wear it. I think it may make me look younger. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!
This video is everything to me! I watched your non makeup wears video with high end products and was hoping you would do a drug store one. This is so helpful for me. Thank you SOOOOO much. I love your content ❤
Dear Nikki - your tutorials are SO AWESOME! I've learned so, so much from you! I'm 62, Italian-American from both of my beloved folks - so I have very similar coloring to yours - except, of course, I am a billion years older than you!!! Anyway, you are truly inspiring - and I can't wait to head to CVS to purchase each of these products. It is time for me to give up the products I have used for years and start using more transparent products such as the ones you've demonstrated in this tutorial. Thank you, thank you so very much for all you've taught and shared with us! You are amazing! God bless you always! Sincerely, Mrs. Meggie Ulrich, San Diego, CA 🥰💖🥰🙏✝️🙏🥰💖🥰
Hey Nikki, I’m sending a big hug and Thank You to you!!! I’m new to your channel and I’m very inexperienced when it comes to applying makeup. Over the past several months, I’ve been looking for help with this and I’m so grateful that I found you. You are an excellent teacher and a true blessing. Thank you for sharing your skills and talents with all of us! After watching this video I purchased everything that you recommended, I was only able to do this due to you utilizing affordable products. As soon as I received everything, I watched your video again and was able to follow your instructions and successfully create the everyday makeup look that I’ve been wanting. 🤩🤩 I’ve received several compliments within only 2 days of creating this look. You are an inspiration to me and now I have an elevated confidence that I’ve only experienced a few times and that was the times when I had my makeup done by a professional. I am just super excited about my new look! I look forward to learning much more from your videos. I’ll sign off now with one of my favorite quotes “Never forget the difference you’ve made” ❤❤
What you said at 14:40 about blending bronzer and blush very gently was helpful. I tend to rub too hard with my brush or beauty blender and then the makeup lifts and mixes with my bronzer and it looks cakey.
My makeup looks so much better since following this! I now understand that I've been too rough when applying makeup and I've been blending it right off my face. I appreciate this indepth/real-time tutorial. Exactly what I've been looking for!
Hi Nikki! I just came across your channel this week and almost instantly subscribed. As someone is is "sometimes non makeup wearing, sometimes wanting full on glam with a bold eye", Im finding you have so much to offer:) You provide such clear and kind instruction, are incredibly talented and your voice is also very calming (which is an added bonus😊) Thank you for sharing your passion, personality and skills with us💜
I was about to run out and get some products and I’m glad I saw this first. It’ll give me the opportunity to practice with some of the new products first and perfect them and then the things that I want to spend a little bit more won’t just sit there and expire LOL. Thank you for being such a beautiful teacher ❤
Long-time makeup wearer, here, but I'm always up for learning new tips and tricks. This was a fantastic video, and I believe there's something in it for every makeup-wearer, not just those gettting started afresh. Great job, you are so lovely and a terrific instructor--thank you!
❤ 💯👍🏼 So loved this tutorial and product picks. I'd love more, drugstore specifically. Slightly more colour, should a non-makeup wearer wishes to graduate, or go out on the town, etc.. ❤😊
Thanks for this guide! Except for aaaalways trying to cover up my dark circles, I’m pretty much a non-makeup wearer but being 46 now, after finding you here I’m slowly figuring out I’m really into non-make up makeup!! I’ve learned soooo much from your vids!! Keep them coming please 🙏🏻
Great video! I would LOVE a natural eye makeup video for non-makeup wearers who have hooded eyes without a crease. I have struggled because I have Asian crease-less hooded eyes. I can't wear eyeliner on my lash line and I don't have a lot of area above my eye for shadow. I am SO curious what your tips would be.
Hi Nikki, thank you for this, I wear make up everyday, but I still enjoyed watching this for a natural everyday look. And I also adore the Revlon cream shadows, I have all of them! 😄 much love from the UK xxx
Now that I have my skin cleared up and healthy after sooo long, your videos are so good to help me get back into the everyday make up look. I loved your other “non make up make up” video and I was looking for a good dupe for something’s and then this video popped up today! Thank you so much for your content! It is so helpful and educational.
you do such a great job explaining what everything does! I've seen so many videos of people putting concealer all over their face, and i never knew why
I have most of those products. I have been doing your other tutorial and it has worked beautifully with drugstore and higher end. I mostly did drugstore. I also have switched up and used my Laura Geller powders off and on for a natural look. Less is more with them to give a bit of color without the powdery cake finish. Buffing those is key. Your videos have been the most helpful to me. Thank you. ❤🥰
I like the Elf stuff that I’ve tried too! This was a very helpful video. Thank you for balancing your content so well. High, middle, low price points and, perhaps most importantly, high, middle and low skill sets!
Nikki, your videos are exactly what I've been searching for for so long. Do you think you'd ever do one of these beginner makeup routines on a person with deep/dark/brown skin so we can see shades that might work on that complexion? Thanks for making this all feel so accessible for someone as clueless as myself.
Nikki, I trust your advice about setting under eye concealer with powder, but I'm 65 with actual suitcase size bags under my eyes. YSL Touche Eclat high cover #3 does help me brighten those purple blue lines under the bags. I place the concealer carefully so it mostly covers the curved line, and blend to blur the placement slightly upward and outward. I also place the concealer carefully in the inner corner/tear duct area., and blend outward with a small brush, on the eyelid to neutralize eyelid redness/discoloration. I get noticeable improvement by doing that. When I try to dust the tiniest bit of powder to set the undereye, my undereye circles become obvious again. And it looks as if I did nothing to conceal the big dark lines. So I throw up my hands, and go without setting the concealer. Luckily Touche Eclat is pretty good at not building up in fine lines. I would appreciate any advice you have. I plan to make green tea ice cubes to bring down puffiness before applying concealer. It might help. Do you have any videos doing makeup on older women? Love your videos.
I completely enjoyed the entirety of this video. You taught me so much from working slowly, building intensity, and using tapping motions. I definitely love the blush tip by putting it all over the eyes to tie the look together. As for the Revlon shadow in the shade caramel, it is now added to my shopping list!! Such a pretty effortless look with just one eyeshadow I was stunned!!! Thank you for the tips I'll take them as I do my natural makeup looks for the hotter days coming up! And by the way Nikki, you are so gorgeous as always in every video. It's an honor to watch someone who not only adores but is educated in makeup take time In their day to teach others who aren't as good and helping us make it not only easier, effortless, but actually fun. Thanks again, I really enjoyed this! ❤❤❤😊😊😊
I found this channel looking for Supergoop glow…I’m over the road trucking for the State prison and I can’t wear a lot of makeup…the only thing I think is missing is a setting spray. I also use the reset sunscreen during the day. This was the perfect scenario for my makeup routine. Yay!
Love your tutorials. I live in jersey Channel Islands off coast of France. I love the natural no makeup look. Will be going to my drugstore to stock up on elf. Thank u. Your beautiful too by the way😁
Your are the best Nikki at teaching you gave so many tips and tricks to us all. I love the tip about NOT bringing the cream cover right to the edge of the face. Brilliant. I find it is especially helpful if you have light hair like my silver hair. Also the pop of blush colour on the eyelid is really pretty. xxoo
Recently came across your page because I don't like to wear a lot of makeup and I always want that natural look. I'm not good at applying it either! I also have oily skin and I feel like my makeup NEVER lasts throughout the day! :( Love your videos! Thanks for all the helpful information!
Stunning 💖 I’m a 52 year old make up wearer but I love this look! Thank you for so many tips. I’ve been applying cream bronzer wrong. I have learned so much from your channel. So happy I found you 💕
I can't say enough about this video. It left me speechless and mesmerized. Sorry if I seem dramatic. Thank you for all of the tips. Can't wait to try your tips and the products you used. ❤❤
Love love your videos! Your delivery and content are fantastic. Selfishly, I’d love to see more “natural” looks and more info about how to pick good shades for fair/light skin. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and for being you!
congratulations nikki on reaching 100k you deserve this the content you have provided since starting your channel is both truthful factual while keeping a nice and helpful manner xx❤
I'm so glad I found your channel. I've been looking for a makeup artist focusing on results rather than price. I do like my luxury products. However, some of them are not worth the price sometimes. Thanks for your great work. 🇨🇦💕💞💓
I just bought the brow wow and I'm so happy you recommend it!! I love love love it!!! I'm now a stay at home mom so I'm not able to buy the more expensive makeup for now so I ran to get this when you mentioned it. It's fantastic!! Thank you!!! Please do more of these videos!!!
Regarding the brows, as a sparse eyebrow girlie myself, I have been using the got 2b glued styling spiking glue. it gives my brows a laminated, super thick and defined look. And it goes on clear and keeps your brows in check until you wash your face. Plus the size of the tube lasted me over a year. So....just thought I'd mention that for brows. Great tips Nikki🥰🥰🥰☺️
Beautiful! At 57 I like the more natural look and have found my skin does so much better with the creams and very little powder to set…I got some good tips and will be trying the No. 7 setting powder! Thank you for your content…appreciate it! 🥰
Hi Nikki, I enjoy watching your videos. I learn little tips from you like leaving the sides of the face free of product when going with a natural make up. Thanks for being honest, warm to all level make up wearers . Happy to have found your channel ❤
Blush is good on the eyes for when you're in a rush! I did that the other day. I love that carmel eyeshadow. It's pretty and easy! No. 7 did reformulate that powder, by the way. Another UA-camr did a side by side, and the old one looked better. That's probably why you couldn't find it for a while. I do love that powder for setting matte foundations as an oily skinned person but haven't tried the new formula. Thanks for the video! I just subscribed!
OMG!!! This video was LIFE!!! so many tips. My favorite one was using the cream blush on the lids. Both non-make, make up videos ARE SO helpful. The techniques and tips can get applied to high end and drug store make up. THANK YOU NIKKI
I haven’t worn makeup since the pandemic because I’m a healthcare worker. Seems like less is more nowadays esp for someone over 40 like me. I’m loving this natural look and can’t wait to try it. Thank you for the step by step guide. Really appreciate your tutorials!
I love this video, thank you so much for taking the time to share it. I'm a middle aged adult and am interested in just starting to wear makeup. I love all the drugstore finds, but could you possibly give us some ideas on some other brushes? I honestly can't afford the brushes that you used in this video. A drugstore makeup brush tutorial would be awesome! I don't really know what brushes to even use! I'm literally Makeup 101 at 50, lol! Thank you again for going slow and actually explaining and teaching us the correct way to apply. I love you and all of your video's! You're so patient! 😘
I love the Revlon colorstay crème eyeshadow in espresso! I swear it’s so easy to apply and great everyday color. That is my goat mascaras lol! I love your videos because you’re a great educator! I’ve had to change up my makeup routine as I get closer to 50 ugh! Thanks so much ❤
Love your tutorials. Very down to earth and relatable. You explain the reasons for your suggestions, but also emphasize that viewers should do what works for them.
As an adult who has decided I want to start wearing make up, thank you for explaining what a product is for. I'm slowly getting more confident and stepping into the make up world

Make up is fun, you get to experiment with different products, test out the textures, it's interesting! Have fun!
I'm 26 and have been wearing make up for a year now and you and a couple others have been my god sent thank you
Same here, I'm a 50+ non-makeup wearer.

Definitely👏
Agree wholeheartedly :)
I 💓& appreciate Ur work, Nikki & enjoy making referrals to Ur channel / vids.
🤌🏼
You are a terrific teacher!! I love the no makeup makeup look. At 77 years wise, I’m still learning! And, drugstore prices are def for me! Thank you!!

This is the best aotm make up tutorial I’ve seen. The instructions are very clear & there’s no background songs that overtakes the host’s voice. 👏🏻
That is pretty much the Miami look in a nutshell!!! My clients are very natural...but sometimes super glam ❤

Same!
This is great Nikki. Haley Kim also has fantastic tutorials for beginners and the no-makeup makeup look.
Thank you for doing drugstore! Much needed for my budget at the moment 😊
BEST natural look makeup tutorial EVER!❤❤❤
I’m so glad I’ve found your chanel!
I haven’t been this excited about makeup in ages!
Thank you!!!!❤❤❤❤
Hi Nikki, thank you for this, I wear make up everyday, but I still enjoyed watching this for a natural everyday look.
AHHHH my prayers have been answered! Thank you thank you Nikki!
I love the L'Oréal 4 in 1 balm ❤
you do such a great job explaining what everything does! I've seen so many videos of people putting concealer all over their face, and i never knew why
This look is so stunning! Just as classy and effortless looking as the high-end version was. Nikki has the best tutorials and advice
Thank you. ❤🥰
Holy Grail Tutorial 🎉🎉🎉🎉
You're beautiful even without makeup too! Thank you Nikki!❤
Thank you for doing this! There’s stuff that definitely worths the investment but for a daily make up I do enjoy this a lot
I like the Elf stuff that I’ve tried too! This was a very helpful video. Thank you for balancing your content so well. High, middle, low price points and, perhaps most importantly, high, middle and low skill sets!
So exciting to see you do your brows! You are such a great teacher Nikki ❤
You are the best at teaching us normal mortals, glad you channel is growing! You are real and so good at what you do.
Nikki, your videos are exactly what I've been searching for for so long. Do you think you'd ever do one of these beginner makeup routines on a person with deep/dark/brown skin so we can see shades that might work on that complexion? Thanks for making this all feel so accessible for someone as clueless as myself.
Je pensais que vous utiliseriez le Elf Halo glow liquid filter. I love this product. Thanks ❤Love the result, You explain so well!
The finished look was beautiful!
You’re so natural Nikki and I learn so much from you! I love your honesty and genuineness! My current fav makeup UA-camr ❤
yesss!! i love this! i’ve been wearing way less makeup now than before so this video is perfect 🥰
Hello Nikki! I really am a drugstore girl! I love to learn so many techniques with you! Thank you so much!!!!!
I found this channel looking for Supergoop glow…I’m over the road trucking for the State prison and I can’t wear a lot of makeup…the only thing I think is missing is a setting spray. I also use the reset sunscreen during the day. This was the perfect scenario for my makeup routine. Yay!
What a lovely soft natural look. Thank you
You are a breath of fresh air in the makeup world. So glad i came across your channel. Thank you❤
Thank you for the wonderful compliment!!!
Less is more is an art in itself. I Always pick up a tip when I watch your videos
This is my favorite natural drug make up tutorial yet ♥️♥️
Love your tutorials. I live in jersey Channel Islands off coast of France. I love the natural no makeup look. Will be going to my drugstore to stock up on elf. Thank u. Your beautiful too by the way😁
Been waiting for this video 👌🏽🙌🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Your are the best Nikki at teaching you gave so many tips and tricks to us all. I love the tip about NOT bringing the cream cover right to the edge of the face. Brilliant. I find it is especially helpful if you have light hair like my silver hair. Also the pop of blush colour on the eyelid is really pretty. xxoo
Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic. No doubt even the makeup veterans got a lot out of this video ❤️❤️❤️
Recently came across your page because I don't like to wear a lot of makeup and I always want that natural look. I'm not good at applying it either! I also have oily skin and I feel like my makeup NEVER lasts throughout the day! :( Love your videos! Thanks for all the helpful information!
I could listen to you all day! THank you for these helpful videos!!
I am so glad I found your channel through Allie Glines. You don't make fun of non make up wearers. You actually teach! I love it ❤
Stunning 💖 I’m a 52 year old make up wearer but I love this look!
That tightline eyeliner trick makes my face look SO much better!
You are an exceptional teacher and today A+!
Thank you and can't wait to try new techniques!
Thanks so much for this video Nikki! I love watching and learning your techniques!!
Can you do a video of your favorite must have brushes?!
Have most of these products and now I get to try them together
Thank you for the great look Nikki!
Hi Nikki, I enjoy watching your videos. I learn little tips from you like leaving the sides of the face free of product when going with a natural make up. Thanks for being honest, warm to all level make up wearers . Happy to have found your channel ❤
I am not a fan of how make up feels on my face, so I LOVE this type of videos you do. Thank you!!!
I can't say enough good things about your videos! You are very deserving of all the new subs, thank you for the thoughtful and high quality content !!
I used that same SPF/balm combo this morning. My daily fav!
I had half of this makeup. 😊
I use the Revlon crème eyeshadow in Carmel or Praline almost everyday. Buying the elf blush and bronzer right now!
Thanks so much ❤
You are honestly flawless with or without the makeup. I do appreciate your videos. They are all so helpful. Thank you. ❤
Love your tutorials. Very down to earth and relatable. You explain the reasons for your suggestions, but also emphasize that viewers should do what works for them.
