Holy fuck. ML is, as always, amazing. Nobody plays like him. He ain't playing Tokyo this year so thanks a lot for posting. Got to get my fix and hadn't heard this before.
On this evening Kirk Fletcher played with the Michae Landau Liquid Quartet two song as special guest. You can see it here: ua-cam.com/video/mLhIY_d-nR8/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/i-e3u3oTugU/v-deo.html
@@jamesha175 Technically, yes. But there is something about Hendrix's phrasing and conception that is very personal. Landau isn't competing with Hendrix: he's acknowledging him, while trying to push beyond. Which is the best kind of tribute. It's rather like Landau's relationship to Beck. You can hear the similarities, and the technical superiority, but in the end he's his own man. He deserves to be better known, or at least acknowledged.
1:09 the heck of a chord is that...? Sounds exquisitely ripped from Scott Henderson style, but I can't figure out what it could be...anyway sounds soooo cool!
Um dos maiores guitarrista da atualidade,.. sem dúvida nenhuma.
He & Beck are like fine wine.... just keep getting better. They ALWAYS BRING IT!

at 1:08ish he is going between a F#7/11 (x x 4 3 0 0) and F#7sus4 (x x 4 4 0 0), then at 1:15 its a Bbm7b5 (x x 8 9 9 9).
F#11. Play an F# barre chord in the second position, then just open the high E and B strings. Quite simple, but really cool sounding.
@@fiendskull9 damn of an ear you got, mate! thank you!
