This tutorial will take you through how to use the EcoFlow Solar Tracker. Back us on Kickstarter today to save on DELTA Pro & DELTA Max: bit.ly/3ibXZif
They got to be smoking crack if they think this is worth $3,400. Absolutely insane price for a small solar tracker. You can get a MASSIVE solar tracker setup for that price.
The tracker at $1900 30% discounted price is not financially viable for the small 30% claimed increase in production. Better to buy 2 more 400 watt panels for 1200 watts total for about the same price as the tracker and 1 400 watt panel. The $2700 list price is even more ridiculous.
The tracker will only produce about 100 watts extra out of a 400 watt panel. Tilting your 400 watt panel at the right angle then rotating it manually to face the sun like 3 times a day will almost produce as much as that $1900 to $2700 tracker.
@@MotorizedBicycleRace I just saw the price $2700 - for that I can buy 5kw of solar panels. No adjusting needed. Considering the technology involved, it’s totally overpriced. Even the delta max is cheaper.
@ecoflow Can the tracker stay outside 24/7 or isn't that what it was build for? I am thinking about putting one if those thinks on my roof because in the EU you are (with some PV set ups that put the energy directly INTO the wall plug) limited to 600W ..... That makes the tracker even more useful. Super expensive though.... I don't see why it has to cost that much. There are UA-cam videos out there where you can build something like this for less than 20$ (sure, wood and not the same build quality and functionality but in general)
Seriously the price of not only this item 4000$ damn dollars but also the ridiculous price of your solar panels and solar generators.. I don't get how these companies get away with this crap... 3500$ for a damn battery 1000$ for a solar panel.. oh and if you want the whole package it's around over 30k.... Stay away from people like this... All you're doing is lining their pockets...
Probably due to all the engineering time required to design and program it, and they're trying to recoup costs. I don't think they expect to sell a lot of these I suspect you could do it and have china build it for $300-500.
Ok now produce enough that you can even sell it. You guys have nothing no pro in stuck and even the over priced tracker is missing. My money is ready for you to take!
simple....i may want to leave this out while i leave for a hike or go to the lake to swim.....so its a valid question it this can be left out to what ever weather happens by while unattended. Or were you just going to babysit yours all day...then why have a tracker if you are there to move it.....now who is LOL
Why have a solar tracker if it isn’t waterproof like the solar panels & who the hell is going to pay the exorbitant amount of money that they’ll be charging for it to have to run out and move it if it rains because it’s not waterproof set it and forget it I say that’s what a solar tracker is built for not to babysit it 🤌🤨.
That's a large and clunky thing to move in and out of storage to avoid a little rain. Also Silver Cymbal did a video about it explaining it is waterproof.
@@danielavenson6964 did i not mention that IF it rained while i was on a hike or away swimming.....guess you see what you want. My mistake you are right if you see no reason then there can be none.....
All this can be made much, much easier. The easiest way is how an Optical Telescope basically works according to the 'Equatorial' principle. The equatorial mount has a north-south "polar axis" that is tilted to be parallel to earth's polar axis, allowing the telescope to swing in an east-west arc, with a second axis perpendicular to it so that the telescope can swing in a north-south arc. By swiveling the polar axis of the mount or mechanically moving in the opposite direction of the Earth's rotation, the sunpanel can accurately track the movement of the sun all day, easy by one clock on 24 hours time line. I saw this on Kickstarter a few days ago. Didn't expect the Ecoflow Solar Tracker to be so badass.
Good to know that Ecoflow made the Solar Tracker adaptable with all other third party panels.

I’ll buy a new one for $400 new or $200 used….otherwise yep x the EF tracker.
The Ecoflow Solar Tracker seems well built. I think I'll pledge on kickstarter for the Delta Pro+400W Solar Panel+Solar Tracker
This commodity is an exclusive toy for the rich, and ordinary people can't afford to buy it

MBR - Wow! I'll just make my own stand for my 2 panels and then move them throughout the day.
Where do I order? Please send a link, interested in the unit alone, not the package Kickstart deal.
$1900 would buy over 2kw of panels in UK, and a charge controller, cables...
Beautiful and a great unit, but way too costly for me!

Great idea, especially for folks who use a CPAP machine.
When will Ecoflow sell the Solar Tracker? I badly need one of these for my off grid house.
Thank You for All that you are doing for World Peace and for our Planet...
Peace.. Shalom.. Salam.. La Paz.. Namaste ..

lmao
What is the wind rating?
thank god its so cheap and no storm will throw it in the air
It's so nice how much , it with the solar tracker I'm so interested too much.
Could you please tell me when all this new kit is coming to the UK,? Thx

Sir project hum bana na na chatai thai apne kesay bana ya
is this thing weather resistant?
Is this waterproof?
Insane prize to pay over $4000 for that thing where i live, you could but alot more panels for that kind of money.
Like to buy one but none for sale now
Is it available in Germany?
Where to buy it???
ecoflow solar kite.
left right nobody need...but all turn.
...but need a motor n other stuff.
why ?
Tracker: $1700 if you "pledge". Payback time: 170 years.
1700 $ ? This is good! I saw it 3600 euros in france!
Can you make it so it can hold 3 panels instead of one?
no

I love everything...except the price!!! We are in a recession!!
I just have to save up some money to afford one 😢
How much?
$3,400! Not at all worth it. You can get a lot of solar panels for that money or make your own solar trackers for far less money.
How can it be so exepensive !!!!!?
They over charge by a lot. I could make something like that for $300.

3000.- + for this...
Cable handling poor made..all open.
For those wondering whether it is rainproof, WHY would you have it out in the rain when the sun isn't shining???? LOL
