In this video, we'll explore the stunning Lake Bacalar, known for its mesmerizing seven shades of blue, and the surrounding region and it's secrets. Prepare to be enchanted by its tranquility and beauty.
🍍 After seeing the lake/lagoon itself, we'll visit the best tropical fresh fruit stand in the world! Experience the explosion of flavors as we try exotic fruits straight from the lush Mexican jungles. You'll see why this stand is a must-visit for any fruit lover!
🏛️ Our journey then takes us to some of the most isolated and breathtaking ruins in Mexico--Chacchoben. Walk with me through these ancient structures, where history whispers through the stones. We'll explore these ruins, untouched by crowds, offering a unique and serene experience.
🐒 While there, get ready for a heartwarming encounter with a family of monkeys in their natural habitat! These playful creatures will give us a glimpse into the vibrant wildlife of the Mexican jungle. It's a rare and delightful experience that you won't want to miss.
🏡 Finally, I'll share with you the experience of having a home right on the shores of Lake Bacalar. Imagine waking up to the soft sounds of lapping water and the serene view of the lagoon. I'll take you through what it's like to live in this paradise, surrounded by nature's beauty, because my friend who lives there let me make a video right in her back yard on the lapping lagoon!

Wow!! Great video!! I think I might visit soon and now planning on going to Chacchoben... Thanks for the great video!!
Thanks for your comment, I love hearing from you. I love Chacchoben! Just try to time it when there is no cruise ship in Mahahual :)
❤
Thanks for this video, I’m going to Bacalar (as well as Merida and Campeche) in May and have been watching a lot of videos like this and it has taken me a long time to find a travel vloger who’s not a total douche. Finally just a down to earth guy in a band t-shirt exploring, like me.
Hahahaha how did I miss this comment! I love it. Yeah a lot of vloggers are all about them. I’m just trying to inspire people and be honest at the same time.
Diane telling it like it is.....My type of person.
Yes!!
That fruit stand looks amazing!! And, you were really fortunate to have seen those monkeys!!
Yes it was a wondrous tropical fruit stand like I’ve never seen before!! And I couldn’t believe the monkey family either!!! Would go there weekly if I lived down there!
Nice video, thanks for the information. You mentioned Piña miel, which is a very sweet pineapple; miel means honey in spanish.
Yeah! It’s the best kind of pineapple!
Great video brother. Gotta love Bacalar
Thanks! Second Bacalar video “Out on the Water” coming out in a few hours, finishing it up now :))
Gran video bro
Gracias!!! Como lo encontraste?
Great video! My family is planning to go to Bacalar in February. I will try to follow your itinenary. I will look for the fruit stand as well.❤❤❤
It’s the best! Pedro Santos is the little town, you have to drive through it to get to Bacalar from Tulum
Buen video bro , y mas con Diana de acompañante ..necesitas venir a mayacala
Definitivamente quiero ir a Mayacala!!!
I saw my friend Diane!!
She’s the star of Bacalar
Yes you did!
Thanks for this video. I’m planning to do a trip to Bacalar and the ruins. Your trip is my kind of vacation too, not the touristy noisy party. I hope they don’t turn Bacalar like Tulum.
Oh cool! Hope you get the ruins on a day with no cruise ship tours, in that case it’s divine!
So THOSE ruins are in Bacalar? Amazing!
40 minute drive from town. Very close to the northern part of the lake. Well worth it if you time it for when there are no cruise ship tours.
@TobyNomad Awesome! Bacalar is my next destination. Been from Cancun down to Akumal & Tulum. Pacific side from Puerto Escondido up to Huatulco. Then inland all over Chiapas and Oaxaca states but there's something about the Caribbean side of MX that calls me.
Hi there! That fruit shop you’ve showed us, do you know the exact location of it or is it that obvious to find? Cheers mate
Well, almost exact. It’s in the small town of Pedro Santos. Right on the highway. Near the speed bumps.
Timothee chalamet! ✈️
So nice to meet you! :)
