Our family has the 2005 GMC Envoy SLT 4WD (Automatic Traction Control). Not the XL, but the XL looks more like a minivan in my opinion. Outside of the Denali (to Cadillac-y), the SLT is the top trim leve. Ours has all the options (ALL black and heated leather seats, ALL wooden trim, BOSE, Automatic Sunroof, 4WD, Traction Control, etc...) This one is nice, but the SLT is AMAZING. It has the Inline 6, so it's more quiet and operates VERY smooth. GREAT ride, GREAT features - 2005 GMC Envoy SLT. :D

I still got my regular gray 05 GMC Envoy but need some work on it. It still drives good with a v6.

Just to clarify, these vehicles (GMT 360/370 platform) were not equipped with a V6; They were equipped with an Inline 6, or the optional V8.

Mike Bealljr the 4.2L motor only comes in a I6. The 5.3L motor is a V8.
