Just picked up my envoy 4.2 i6 with 123,xxx miles on it and I’m loving it! So many features for the time! With the double din me wood and some door speakers this car feels like it’s 10 years newer than it actually is !
I own a 2004 with 89000 original miles on it and I love it. It belonged to my grandpa who bought it brand new back in 2003. It has been kept in good condition and I plan to keep it that way. Man oh man do I love my car
I wish GM would bring these back seriously but not like they did the trailblazer👎 I have (2) of these bad boys a 2003 XL XLT with the inline 6 4.2 & a 2005 Denali XL with the 5.3 v8 that i just purchased for $350 as it needs an engine & trans because the seller sold the engine & was going to part it out so i bought it because of its condition which is immaculate in & out compared to my 03' which has over 287,000 & still kicking! These things are truly one of GM best vehicles & pretty solid on maintenance! Ive neglected mine for yrs honestly and the only problem i have now is a recently discovered oil leak, power steering,& of course suspension parts that are now showing their age but for a vehicle with that many miles & neglected service ( im not bragging by no means) its pretty darn impressive to me! Runs great no skipping or burning oil just needs some serious tlc & im going to do just that by giving her a break & get the Denali Envoy up & running & then get her the 03' back together! These things are great on the highway & very very powerful and pretty smooth to be honest! Ive heard about the dreaded Dod/AFM system on the v8 to be problematic with lifter issues so I'm gonna have that feature disabled on my Denali when i get an engine for it & the rest will be history! I honestly haven't bought a newer SUV because i haven't found anything out there yet that has the versatility, the function, chasis and drivetrain like these Envoys, Trail Blazers,Isuzu Ascender , Buick Rainier & Saab 9-7x which were built on a truck frame with rear wheel drive that i just love! The Traverse & the GMC Acadia just doesn't have the same platform or utility to match these Envoys to make me buy one! If GM decided to bring these back with the same platform but of course updated ill be the first in line to purchase a brand new one in a heartbeat! But enough of me rambling but as you can tell i love these things & can't wait to get the 05' Denal up & runnin soon very soon i hope! 👍😜💯
this was a family icon car for us and to be honest even though this car is from 2004 it still looks up to date such a shame gmc discontinued such an amazing car
I just Bought a 2004 Envoy Xlt and love it, I got it for super cheap and it only needed a power steering pump, I got it fixed the same day I bought it and for being an older SUV with 141,659 miles it runs like new , no shifting issues etc I'm going to keep it untill the wheels fall off lol
sounds like my grandpas trailblazer, but his is way louder and has a deeper tone, even though its the i6, prolly the fact that the muffler has a hole in it
@@DrivingExclusive oh ok i have a 4.2 and didn't sound like this but my dad once mentioned the mechanic has changed something and made the car sound different so maybe that's why

My guy with a misfire and a flashing check engine light and a exhaust leak it sounds like, i wouldn't be pushing that motor in the slightest
🤘😀

Yea might be that😃
Trailer blazer 2006 Bleeees❤️❤️🌹

It's nor running right, the check engine light means it's misfiring
Might be right
@@DrivingExclusive it's most likely gonna be a ignition coil they like to die
It will run a whole lot better
Yes. Mine is 4.2 and quiet as a mouse.
what trim is this envoy xl
Nice video. Wondering why that light came on. It runs loud. Mine is so quiet.
Had some issue with one of the coils I think
@@DrivingExclusive It was misfiring while he was driving it
buddy that flashing check engine light means your damaging the catalytic converter lol
It was just misfiring for some reason, according to the owner
@@DrivingExclusive Return the car back to the owner and have it repaired then you can drive it.
@@DrivingExclusive no shit sherlock that's why the lights flashing, the flash means it's a heavy misfire which means damage to the cat.
hey bro i subbed and can you please do a honda civic next?
I’ll try to find one!
@@DrivingExclusive alright bro goodluck and keep up these amazing videos ur underrated!!
@@PakiEdits thank you for the kind words!
How does yours sound like that? Did you cut your catalytic converter?

А если ты поменяешь катушку зажигания, то он еще лучше поедет))) И расход уменьшится. У тебя чек мигает и звук с пропусками зажигания
yes, yes, you are right, the owner told me the same thing.
@@DrivingExclusive просто у меня недавно была такая проблема

No, no, it is in fact the 4.2 I6
@@DrivingExclusive oh ok i have a 4.2 and didn't sound like this but my dad once mentioned the mechanic has changed something and made the car sound different so maybe that's why

@@NGGPeter yea, the owner told me something like that
ماهو عاطل قفال السيارة
