I love these Envoys so much I have two of them! An 02' XLT XL with the 4.2inline 6 & a recently purchased 05' XLT Denali version 5.3v8. The Denali needs engine & trans but I plan to have that done shortly for sure! Wish GM would bring the Envoy back with the same utility & set-up but with a modern sophisticated design! These are great SUV's I have over 278,000 on my 02' 4.2ltr 6 & she's still running strong! Just have to replace my catalytic converter now & all will be good!! Nice review by the way!👍
My "06 Denali has been fun to drive, but has had several issues all resolved now and it has nearly 200k miles on it, but with a detailed go over it's now in perfect condition mechanically. The "01 Suburban has had fewer issues, because it's built better - has 320k miles on it and I'm afraid to buy a newer one due to all the issues the newer ones have.
I got a 2007 and its got a short in the ground wire running from the battery to the chassis. Sometimes it starts and sometimes it doesnt have any power at all. Im going to splice into the ground and see if that will fix it im hoping so
Little latch in the bottom left of the driver side foot area, then when it pops feel around under the hood on the front burner and you should feel a latch. Pull that and it should open, sorry if that's not a good explanation or its a little late lol.
