I honestly was thinking about this the other day, since I've been following the channel for quite some time
I wondered if the channel was taking it's toll, while also doing BIG giveaways. I'm glad you are working towards good direction for the channel AND your health, which is most important.

I gotta get my own channel update video out soon lol. I started as a figure reviewer but it just got exhausting after a while. That's actually probably the biggest factor in me getting so tired of articulated stuff like Figuarts. I got real tired real fast of describing the same joints in the same spots on every figure. 😂 And then there's just the cost of it all.
I had already started branching out a while back, like with gaming most notably, but it's always good for formalize it.
when this channel took off i collected almost everything. for several years my savings never got passed $ 3,000.
I don’t have that issue, but I do want to focus on bigger things while creating content that I’m personally interested in making!

We'll always stick around mate, do videos when the feeling hits you, if you're having fun then the content will be great as always. I'd rather see you enjoying yourself than being burnt out, that's not what passion is about. Hopefully you continue to grow to the point that it'll start making some profit for you, I'd say this is the most informative Dragon ball figure channel out there so it's well deserved

Makes total sense. I think you should collect what you're actually interested in. I don't mind because I don't like crane figures or the smaller stuff either. Doing this should be fun for you, not feel like a chore or mandatory.
If you're going to branch out any more as far as outside of Dragonball, they've started releasing Jojo masterlise figures and I have a few of them. They look great.

Your mental health and personal life must come first always! Also, this is an hobbie and you should do it as such not make it look like a second job for you...
Take care of yourself and enjoy some time off youtube and social media, play some games and spend some time with your loved ones (family and girlfriend), your fans and friends will still be here and understand!
Also, I know some people might be disappointed with no more giveaways but I think it's for the best...spend the money for the hobby on what you want to keep for yourself and review in the process and save the rest of the money for the future...I know you want to start a family right? :)

It has to be sustainable, so I like this approach. I just wish that, at least for Dragon Ball Masterlise, we could get one video per figure in the set.

Sucks to see you here again after that other video a few years ago. Love that you're gonna stay on in a smaller capacity though. If this is just a side hustle you need to put more important things first.
I'll be honest I'm here for the dbz kuji reviews, I know it's basic but I will typically skip over other anime or crane figures as they're not my jam. I'm happy with one review for all of them. Looking forward to more content at a pace you can keep up with.

I always wonder how you can keep up with all the figures purchases. The best thing about this channel is the community, the positivity vibes..we all here just to nerd out about figures, despite our hectic life we still spend some times enjoying our inner child. (Sorry english is not my first language 😂 is that correct English?)
I make good money at my job. But I have to prioritize other things and make content that I think we all will enjoy more!

I think it’s really important to not get sucked into the social media trap of working all hours but not getting any reward. I will always appreciate seeing your Cell video and opening up my hobby to a really supportive community full of amazing people. But I did this when I first set up a business of working all hours and being stressed beyond belief by not having any spare time. You have to do what is right for you and screw anyone else. You have set up a wonderful community for the hobby and it’s definitely something I am immensely grateful for after only knowing a few people into Dragonball, let alone the collecting element to it.
Idk how you did daily uploads this long, it’s an accomplishment to do that but I think it would burn out anyone. Good luck and support in whatever you do Matt!
Btw idk how anyone else feels, but 3$ is kind of a low price. Even without the giveaways maybe have another 5-10$ tier just for people that want to support the reviews. Deff worth that much a month to me just to see dragonball masterlise reviews.

You have always got to take care of yourself and your family first. Daily uploads can really consume your life and your passion will eventually fade away which will affect the content, so good for you for deciding to take that step back. As far as the giveaways, sure I believe we are all going to miss it but the giveaways are not the only reason I am subscribed to your channel, I love the vibes and I love the community. But I will say that maybe in the future just accumulate enough product over time and then just do a giveaway every 3 or 4 months or something.
Take a break...I restarted watching and collecting a few masterlise large DBZ only. The best parts of your reviews is putting on the rotunda display or putting them next to other for size comparison..that's enough for me.
Reasonable change, You have a choice to spend time with people you love and have the time to improve yourself.

Take a step back and certainly multiple videos a day is stressful for anyone in content creation.
