as a patriots fan the thing I most admire about joe green was his play.
of all the film ive ever seen not once did I see him take down a QB of RB / WR with a dirty hit.
he always laid a powerful hit but always a clean hit.
that right there has my upmost respect. not only for him but the whole steelers organization.
by far your best player ever.

Too bad between the whistles he was the dirtiest player in the NFL

Levi Smith come on man, and like Derrick Thomas wasnt ?
      your trolling.
by the way, they make this cool software called screen recorder, so you dont look like an amatuer uploading your videos of you using a cell phone to capture TV.

chuck jones But I am an amatuer.
And also, not really. Especially not like Joe Greene. DT just couldn't keep it in his pants.

I've never seen so many sacks by the whole d line like this. Those 4, Greene Greenwood White and Holmes, could not be blocked

Dwight White, Ernie holmes, and L.C. Greenwood should be in the HOF along with Mean Joe Greene

+Travis Phillips I love Steelers to death but LC is the only one of those three that should be in there with him... Ernie and Dwight were excellent players but they aren't hall of famers. If Andy Russell isn't one, then neither are they.

L.C. was a great player, Dwight and Ernie were good players. Simple as that

Greenwood, yes. Holmes and White, nah. While good, they weren't great Ernie didn't last very long due to personal issues and injuries and Dwight kinda slowed down after 1975 after a couple Pro Bowl berths due to injuries.

The second most important Steeler after Chuck Noll.

When he started to line up at an angle between center and guard in the Stunt 4-3 in late 1974, no team could find an answer to that tactic for two years. He was devastating, but his numbers went significantly down since he tied up 2, 3, or even 4 guys at times to allow Greenwood, Holmes, and White to get to the QB.

Greene was hurt in 1975 and this injury weakened his left side of his upper body. His numbers were down because he played with this unusual injury for the remainder of his career, but he still commanded double and triple teams because of his tremendous quickness and tenacity off the ball

I wish today's Steelers had a front four as talented as the Steel Curtain. Of course if they did, then they would run a 4-3 defense instead of what they run now.

MVP Joe Greene. A pick that enabled our Pittsburgh Dynasty. Video watch his Career.... Find the Dynasty other than the Steel Curtain, Greenwood, Holmes, White, and Green.... NOBODY has ever dominated as such. I was there beyond the games...YEp the Champions of the 70s. Many Heroes of the team came to MY town.. Port Vue, Pennsylvania. We had intimate relationship with Ham and we had a local Guerela's Gorrila at Every game. WE ROCKED! How call to visit training camp at St. Vinincents college in Latrobe, eat fish at Bull's Tavern in Latrobe... and watch our team dominate!!!!!!!!!.
