Perfect timing for a Year 12 with mocks. Any tips for revising maths? I find that I can’t do proper exam questions without revising the entire chapters first, which takes a lot of time
I mean there’s no fast way with revision I guess D: I have the same problem. I’ve covered all of year 1 Pure maths, but there’s topics that I’ve kind of forgotten how to do etc etc. What I usually do is look at the specification. Tick all the topics that I’m not 100% confident with, watch tutorial videos on the topic, then plough through some exam questions. Then I’ll do past papers after I’ve covered everything. Since it’s Easter holidays, you can do one topic a day/ one topic every few days! And by the time you go back to school, you can start on doing past papers. I feel like doing past papers during school term rather than learning content/recapping content is less time consuming, less stressful and you can really put all your energy in topics you’re learning in school currently. Hope this helps : D
Hi Lewis, do you have any strategies for revising the AQA GCSE Physics required practicals? Do you know of any practice questions or model answers for these? Thanks for your very helpful videos.
hi,i don’t really know all the content so i’m making notes and in a few days i’ll go onto the past papers? my exams start in june, this is for chemistry
If I don’t have any notes. Should I I just do past papers only. I got a 7 in my mock but trying got get to a 9. Do you think I can go from a 7 to a 9 in a month. And also should I just make flash cards on hard concepts and not make it on all of the things. Thanks sir. and I should not make notes at all right just notes of flash cards on my hard topics right thanks sir.
identify weak areas from past papers and recap on content by making flashcards. after that do another past paper. by doing this you are filtering out strong areas and weak areas which can push your grade up !! hope this helps
Start now! I'm doing about 5 hours a day with the pomodoro method. I wake up fairly early and get it done by lunch, so my whole day isn't taken up by it!
I went from a D in my mocks to an A in my final exam last year, trust me with the right mindset it is possible

Hi Lewis,
Can you please make a practice workbook for A level physics like the one you did for GCSE? Thanks :)
Potentially in the future - at the moment I'm still preparing my Daily Workout A Level books!
Hi Lewis, do you have any strategies for revising the AQA GCSE Physics required practicals? Do you know of any practice questions or model answers for these? Thanks for your very helpful videos.
How do I find the advance information
Would you recommend doing the Isaac physics game boards on your website as well as the past papers or just focus on past papers?
Maybe just do the Isaac Physics boards on topics you identified as weak from the past papers
Where are these Isaac Physics boards located on the website?
@@icelog312 For GCSE they are all here: www.gcsephysicsonline.com/isaac-physics
@@PhysicsOnline I was asking about A-Level, sorry😅
@@icelog312 Just go on each topic where his videos are and there will be gameboards next to some of them
is there a vid for 5.2 and 5.3 ocr b a level tysm for all your vids truly a lifesaver
I have full videos for this section: www.alevelphysicsonline.com/ocr-b-matter

Same situation for me, hoping to finish with my notes by the end of this week and then move onto past papers
@@jackcampbell6802 your exams are in June as well?
@@maiz3558 unfortunately not, my first exam is May 23rd but most of them start in June due to half term so I need to get onto past papers asap
Where can i find more questions or past papers to revise from for phy, chem, bio, since the AQA spec has too little past papers. for GCSEs.
Edexcel and OCR are a safe bet
So international a levels don’t have advanced info right?
Would you recommend us doing past papers only given the time period remaining ?
Maybe 80% past papers
i haven't done past papers yet and im on a 6 can i jump to a 8 if i do it and i got 1 month left
Yes you can! You can make that change happen.

Is it ok to do past papers from other exam boards because there's barely any AQA papers?
Absolutely!
