    Thanks for the advice. I feel less anxious about physics exams after watching your videos. I have A2 IAL exams this May/June, so it will be very helpful if you make more videos about Edexcel IAL Physics.

      haha bruh its sad and good at the same time. We've been given minimum outcome grades due to past work evidence (so can only go up) but at the same time I wish I knew what I would have got with everyone in the same boat.

      @George kirby yeah I was y13 last year and had bad relations with my teacher and didn't really do what they asked, but sweated my ass off at home lol, did the same for GCSEs and got 8s and 9s but got kinda screwed over for this
      Hopefully it'll be back to normal next year for unis though

    Why are the physics 4-5-6 marker written questions have such specific mark schemes it just makes it's impossible to answer in comparison to the other sciences

    Hi Lewis.
    I’m on the OCR A level A spec for physics and I want to branch out to other exam boards as part of my revision. Would you recommend that I look at the OCR B papers as revision or will the be very different.

    Thanks for the advice. I just wanted to know if you are going to complete some parts of the particle and radiation chapters on your website for a-level aqa. Are you going to be making individual topics for those uncompleted chapters like the ones on your website, like are you going to be making a full video focusing on the Fluorescent tube that aqa students need to know about as I wanted to start with particles and radiation for my revision for the may/june exams. any sort of dates you will finish the particles and radiation section following the specification with annihilation and pair productions videos. basically completing the entire chapter?

    I did the 2019 a levels and currently i am at uni for my first year. Some of my friends are still in alevels and have mocks next week. Am i not allowed to disclose what topics came up to them or will they not let them do the 2019 mock?

      Think of it like this: imagine you want to measure your height. Would you rather use a measuring tape graduated in cm or mm? If you use the cm one you'd be "reading between the lines" (as in between two markings hope this makes sense) but with the mm one you don't need to. It's the same logic here, you want a big triangle to make sure you aren't reading between the markings on the graph but that you're reading the actual markings. Hope I didn't confuse you lol. Also you're more likely to just straight up misread the values with a tiny triangle

    (from 4:00) Do we have to write down our entire calculator value or could we just round to 3 significant figures on paper but keep using our full value on calculator? Or just not write an answer in our steps and instead leave the calculation for the final step?

    • @theblackswordsman8400
      @theblackswordsman8400 2 роки тому +1

      you keep using the full value for other parts/questions. but for the final answer, round to the significant figure specified.

    Hi, where could I find last year papers? I'm a private student already studying for next year exams, due to obvious reasons. I've used 'UpLearn' content until now however don't know how to assess last year exams.

    Dy/dx? Are u referring to differentiation or just difference in y over difference in x

    • @anuragsuresh5867
      @anuragsuresh5867 4 роки тому +3

      User Name Most likely change in y/change in x, because calculus isn’t essential in A level physics so you won't have to do any actual differentiation.

      @inmate_i9208 4 роки тому +4

    • @robbiehicks7960
      @robbiehicks7960 4 роки тому

      @@CH-zw2gm Not quite, differentiation is the limit as x tends to 0 of the difference of y / difference of x, so basically the limit of the gradient at a certain point, which is only the same as the general gradient for a straight line.

      I’d say try picking one small topic, then reading all three textbooks about that subject then having a go at the Isaac questions - referring back to the books as and when you need to.
