Looks like a decent enough loco to me - nice video, always enjoy your reviews. Good tip about the screwdriver. However, I have recenttly mainly have been servicing old Triang locos, and many of the bolts are brass and (annoyingly) flathead. So care is needed, and no magnetic screwdriver can help you! They also tend to have snapped on some of the 60 year old ones, so need drilling out, but they will just spin out with the drill pressure turning them as the chassis has thread all the way through, so you can push them out from either side with a spinning drill bit.
I have in my collection of around 150 locomotives examples from all the major manufacturers Hornby Bachmann Dapol Lima AEG etc and have found that those made in China seem to have poorer finish and lower performance than say Rivorossi or Pacific Fast Mail which I have found to be Superb
One can never have too many A1/A3s. May I make one point? I don't think 3 in 1 oil is a good choice. Light sewing machine oil or similar seems to be what most modellers use.
I don't think I ever remember you being as negative as you were in the beginning of the video about the certificate and box picture. Regardless you were on the mark with all of it so hats off. Great review, Jersey Bill
@MichaelCampin That's a great collection. I have Norwich City, Manchester Utd, Arsenal & Liverpool. I also acquired a second Norwich City with the intention of converting it to Hull City, but haven't quite got round to it yet....
LOL what an ill-informed comment. Just check out some of my other videos on this channel. Most of the stuff I review I really like. Try this: ua-cam.com/video/WsvF9zuq9yY/v-deo.html Or this: ua-cam.com/video/DGiIFYdqEoA/v-deo.html Or even this: ua-cam.com/video/w5EUxDXd6LI/v-deo.html

Arent the totems meant to face to the left? My Doncaster is a B17 not an A3
The B17 was named after the football club, Doncaster Rovers.
