That’s crazy it came from Ceresville, I live 20 minutes from that dealership. We have been using Steffen systems on our family farm since the early 90’s. They make great equipment, my brother currently runs a cutter system from them that converts 3’x3’ bales down to small bales. Amazing how innovative Dave Steffen is. Really good guy, really good company.
Enjoyed watching your box van loading setup. Borden manufacturing makes a squeeze for carrying stacks of bundles that have been tied with the tie grapple. It may be a handy piece of equipment for you.
WR Long out of North Carolina can make you an adapter to fit the original side of the skid. I’ve dealt with them before through james river equipment. They are a distributor for them. But you can call them directly to see if they make one to fit that model before going to JRE.
Great display of your new grapple and just a suggestion to your knurling problem. Might be able to increase the diameter of the cylinders just a little or check system pressure settings
Hey Dennis there is a place not far from where you bought your John Deere , called Mast Equipment they sell and make loader equipment. Its in Walnut Creek Ohio. I finally bought a skid steer. After I bought that 555 ford backhoe from your home town. Which the guy blew up the engine delivering it. I was afraid to buy anything else used. Ron
@@DLHFarms I bought it here locally in Ohio. However it came from What is it called Meadows of Dan. Thats where the sticker said it was from. The old man I bought it from gave me my money back.
I’m curious how these grapples (Steffens, 510f, and kn510f) all work on the 4 series John Deere, I don’t do a lot of hay right now. But I’m looking at a 4 series to bale, and move bales.
It can handle a 510f and stack 6 or 7 high from the ground I can’t remember exactly. I’ve got a short video of one on a 4 series. It can barely lift a kn510f without hay in it. The Steffens with the rotation is a no go either.
Where did you purchase your angle dangle and what did you have in the total with your hoses Does it swivel only to the right and does it swivel 90 degrees Thank you !!
@@DLHFarms It may not work I didn't think about that, but a old 6000 or 8000 lb forklift and a squeeze would be pretty fast in your big barn on that cement floor.

I got one thanks
That older New Holland handled it better then I thought, good for you Dennis 👍🏻
Yeah it did pretty good
Repile, Rebale, Reload the breakfast biscuit basket. Say that three times fast.
The Lift geometry on a new holland loader is straight up where the Bobcat type loader arched back more , we have a 743 bobcat
Yep that’s right

Already checked the pressure it’s above the specs if I can find bigger cylinders would be nice.
Dennis trying to burn the excavator 😳 somebody tell Mrs. Shannon
