The german version would be: "Eine Alte Dame Geht Bier Einkaufen" - an old lady goes to get beer
Edit: had a stupid mistake in the german sentence, since in swissgerman (of my region) nobody uses the equivalent of the standard german "Bier einkaufen" but much rather "Bier holen" which gives a H (B) String instead of an E String.

There seems to be an extra audio clarity in your videos this year. Even with UA-cam compression and gain. I can hear the individual notes better on chords. The thing is you have change at least three major components recently. What do you think is contributing the most to this? Is it the new magnets that are designed specifically for guitar? The new v2 guitars? That new Barefaced cab?

ROB!! I've been struggling a long time with the F-chord. I've watched tutorials, I've practiced until my hand hurt, I've thought to myself that well maybe my hands are just different and I'm not made to play this chord. So I just went with version B of the F-chord for the longest time and just skipped barre-chords completely. The cue points you gave, especially with the thumb right behind the index finger, for some reason just made it click for me! The chord sounds clear and I am really excited right now! Thank you for sharing!

Thank you! Very informative and thorough. I have been in a 20 year slump with my playing. It’s as if I had hit a wall and could not progress no matter what I tried. It has been so frustrating that I just quit altogether. I’m back now with a shiny new, fresh mindset and plenty of motivation. I am now progressing to where I don’t have to play the same songs and licks that I have been playing over and over for years. That was the wall that I’m speaking of. if you happen to have another one of those purple V's that is damaged or broken you could let go of more affordably, for me that is, please bring it with you next time your coming to Portland!!! fit a extra day or two when planing that trip and I can show you some true gems of the pacific north west!!! I would also really like for you to be able to play a few Dean guitars... it's something that I have always wanted you & the Captain review but you never do because Andertons doesn't carry them and you don't get to play used guitars there either... maybe someday... either way keep doing what your doing!!!

Great video, Rob! Really like the demo of the posture for a barre chord and explanation on the capo for changing the key. You should do a series of these for each key as it would be very helpful for learning more chord shapes the proper way.

great video i like that you did the major scale with the 3 note per string method i've been meaning to learn this technique.. and i finally understand the 3 down from minor to make a major pentatonic but whats new to me is 2 down with the major scale , makes a minor , or dorian scale , hey !!! if that what u say i believe it

You managed to play D minor and not note that it is the saddest of all chords and that it makes people weep instantly. I didn't think that a guitar player could pass up a Spinal Tap reference.
