- A convoy of British Army vehicles and tanks arrived in Estonia on Friday February 25, 2022, as part of the NATO-Mission to strengthen the alliance's eastern flank.

Military lorries and flatbed trucks carrying tanks crossed over the Latvian-Estonian border a week after the United Kingdom had announced it would double the size of the British NATO force in Estonia.
The UK has about 900 British personal rotating on a regular basis in Estonia. This comes as other NATO members such as Germany and the US have also send additional troops and military equipment to the eastern flank of NATO.
After Russia had invaded Ukraine on Thursday February 24, 2022, the UK had announced it would send more additional troops to Estonia.

Not to mention, US has a number of F15 Strike Eagle Squadron stationed in England and at least four B52 Strato Bombers were spotted at the airbase.

Well, it’s not like Ukraine’s small military is ever going to be the aggressor to invade Russia, isn’t? Given to Russian military expansion and conflict in recent years, it’s pretty clear what Putin is trying to achieve. Many of those former Soviet Union nations are seeking to join or the help from NATO because they are afraid of being bullied by Russia. Ukraine is a sovereign country and their people deserves the right to decide their own path.

@@elmermatthew6796 effective enough to take 4 RPG rounds only to then have left with only a damaged track which the engineers patched up the Challenger was back on the road again within 15-20mins. If you think the T-80 will beat these, well take a look at what the brave Ukrainians have done to a few of them.
@@meredyddakamere4244 in iraq they had pretty outdated armour and like elmer said fairly untrained, and the chally 2 was new then. these are trained russian soldiers with t72b3's and t80bvm's. remember they are a lot more of those than we have challengers. and I havn't need any t90m tanks yet.
@@oddball1999 These you see here are not the upgraded Challenger 2, unfortunatly with the amount of MOD cuts the production has been terriable. Though Challenger 3 is in the works. Again as I said, challenger took 4 RPG rounds and still did its misson. Don't understimate British troops. We have one of the best trained troops in the world.

In whatever way we want to look at it. This war shouldn't have started in the first place. Human beings are meant to resolve their differences through dialogue. War is a huge expense. It is very easy to start a war, very difficult to end a war, very difficult to recuperate after a war. Up till now, the North and South Koreans are still arch enemies based on the bloody bitter war they fought. Current example; Iraq, Libya and Syria. War destroys diplomatic relations, war creates hate among people, war destroys a country's economy, war isolates people from peace. War is not a useful tool to resolve conflicts. Not in this day and age. I wonder how the United Nations Security Council goes to bed at night knowing the situation the world is currently facing.

The Russians aren't going to the Baltic, whilst they have unfinished business in southern Europe, just my view but it would have made more sense for some of the smaller military nations such as Holland, Spain, Belgium to take on the role of guard duty, to free up the larger spending nations to focus on the higher risk frontiers (Romania / Moldova). Although Probably a good training exercise.
Estonia isn't the only country that British forces are currently in British forces are also in Poland and Romania having forces stationed in estonia not only send the message that nato is prepared but also because is likely that the NATO plan in case intervention in the Russo Ukrainian war is required is to not only defend ukraine but to take the war into Russia
The Baltic states join the alliance and let the land be used as a battleground.

The most effective weapon Ukraine needs in ending this invasion is for NATO to allow an emergency session approving Ukraine's membership to the alliance TODAY! This way, there can be no doubt that NATO will be helping to defend a charter member as soon as possible.

It takes years to be a fill fledged NATO member. Part of it would be reforms within Ukraine itself. Political, social, financial, etc. Ukraine govt allowed neo-nazis militia groups like the Azov defending their border against Russia especially since the 2014 Crimea.
It would be a bad look for NATO if they allow Ukraine to fast track admission to NATO while not reforming their own country. Every NATO nations joined NATO avoid large scale wars as a collective unit.
Plus by giving Ukraine immediate admission to NATO, something that Putin had been complaining about to the NATO security councils for years......would just gives more validation to Putin's war against Ukraine.
And having Ukriane be suddenly bw part of NATO and thus by proxy, Russia had "attacked" a NATO country....even if after the fact, NATO allied nations would be forced to response and THAT is war escalation. Not descalation.
