So many people around me have found their life partners/have their careers figured out and it is so easy for me to compare myself and put myself down, but we are all in our own lane and I think I'm just someone who is always changing and reinventing myself and am learning to find joy and love myself during this journey 🫶 Keep us updated on your school stuff! I’m from the IE too! I’m 28, I lost my good playing job during covid. I’m back in the work force lol. I now work at Target and a certain theme park. Part time at both because I’m going back to school too. Trust me I couldn’t get the job at target for a long time too. I think I only got in because everyone was sick. I went through a big mental health journey too and recently just getting health insurance again. I was uninsured for 2 years. I’m worried about my health now. Good luck!
I turn 27 this year and I am FRIGHTENED for it. As far as career goes, I think you just need to find what you can do while preserving your peace and living a life you are comfortable with, ya know?
Right! I want to work to but when these job companies don’t pay enough and they are selective and racist, it’s hard to”just get a job”. Target is selective and some store managers are racist.
100% im realizing more and more we have to create our own new paths for success and stop relying on these twisted systems, although we can still take their money if we need to 😌
I'm going to watch a few old movies about 20 somethings who are in Jess's stage of life. Starting with St Elmo's Fire 1985, Singles 1992, Reality Bites 1994. Can anyone recommend more? Please dont recommend any super-sad movies about unemployment, such as The Shawshank Redemption or The Pursuit of Happiness.
