Such beautiful patterns! I had no idea how bad I needed a knit skirt in my life until I watched this video 😂 Also, thanks for including so many photos of the patterns, I really like seeing the different versions that people have made. I have a body that is very much not tall or lean, and I can't go without bra so seeing ideas of modifications/accommodations for different body types is super helpful.
I really love the Bicolour skirt from your video! There's also this pleated skirt I've saved on Ravelry that I really like, Nemy skirt by Milena Juhola.
Lovely pattern roundups! I've been eyeing a Camisole No.4 that's been made into a dress, I love it, I'm just unsure of my skills to do it this summer, but maybe next year 🤞
I'm currently knitting Hilja dress by Ronja Hakalehto, I think she published it yesterday. I was one of the test knitters. It is a bit different design to these ones since it has some smocking (?) at the waist and it's more A-shape. Anyway I'm excited to start wearing it and seeing if I like to wear a knitted summer dress! I will make many more if I do 🤩
Beautiful patterns! Unfortunately a knit dress or skirt really doesn't fit into my life right now (and my jumpy dog would ruin it pretty quick anyway). So I'll love watching you knit them all ! 😀I am excited to see you in your Melides dress. I really hope you can finish it for your vacation🤞
Thank you for such a great collection. I would recommend you add to your bundle, "Breakfast in the Garden Dress" by Minimi Knit Design. Size inclusive, Bra-Friendly and POCKETS. She also has other dresses that might interest you.
Thanks, very nice set! Lovely example of a top turned to a dress is "Audrey Top, but a dress" project by MelissaLu done from original Audrey Top byPetitKnit , looks just gorgeous. Check it out! Melissa also has a vlog with the entire process of knitting it. And one of my favorites Nordic summer dress by Witre Design you already have in the bundle, actually plan to cast it on even before finishing my Melides :)
Thank You. It's my goal to knit a skirt and dress for THIS summer.
You definitely should! Any specific patterns you’re thinking of?
For my 1st skirt, I'm thinking of one with a ribbed pattern. For the the dress, the Winona is the one. But there so many great patterns.
@@sherriedentley600 good choices! Lots of nice rib skirt patterns

Sandness garn recently published a lot of skirt and dress knitting patterns! And they have the Mosskjole and Cherry dress that are also really nice
Thanks for the suggestions! I had the Mosskjole in the bundle but the cherry dress is new to me. So cute!

So cute! I love pockets. Thanks for the suggestion.
Great patterns! Id love a video on some bra friendly summer tops since you said you dislike strapless bras!
Good idea!

😊
Note: "Midi" is pronounced "Me-dee"
It's a French word that means "noon"
Thank you for the inspiration ✨🙂
I’ve p it a dress on my to knit list for the past two years! But I guess I’m still a bit intimidated
I felt the same but I can say now it's not as scary as it seems. Just a lot more knitting 😂 Maybe pick a heavier weight pattern so it goes quicker
@@Goodknits_ thanks for the video! Yeah I m thinking about the nata dress since it’s dk weight
I didn't see the intarsia class link below. Is it there, and I just am not seeing it?
Thanks for catching that! Here it is: stan.store/saltandstoneknits/p/intro-to-intarsia--sun-may-19--12pm-et
As a plus size girl, I can't even begin to phantom how much knitting a dress would cost 💀
They definitely use up a lot of yarn in general. A skirt would be a good option though!
Holst Garn, Coast - even held double would be a really good budget option. Im thinking of doing it with a top design I like and just extended it.
