      its sad isn't it! We spend all our money to get a better education and half of what is learned comes from youtube. (Or Lynda.com for me) I wish I had realized how much I could learn on my own before beginning my degree program. I'd have chose a different profession and still learned all of this without spending thousands of dollars!

    BTW your tutorials realy help me out,
    Right now I am studing Desk Top Publishing and building websites is one of them, we have a great teacher, but your teachings help me improve my skills even more, and even made me teach my teacher a few things. When I am in class and need to ask the teacher about something, I usualy just search for your video's on youtube, and they always help me out, cause our teacher is ALWAYS bussy,
    Thank you so much for your time putting in to this

    there's a problem. I can't specify height of the div, or bg image or color. That's happening only with one of the divs, on the other divs it worked fine. I made 2 divs one under the other inside of the Wrapper, and when I try to create third one, it doesn't changes, when I specify height or insert background.
    What could be the problem ? thanks.

    Rmelkonian, he starts out showing his Dreamweaver preview of the site in Firefox. You just don't see Dreamweaver first off. He had made the entire website once before and was showing those files in preview mode.
    Then he recreates it again so we can see how he did it.
    I was confused a little at first too. But he is just showing one version of the completed site and switching back to demonstrating how to build it.

    @mocinq Yes you can do that in CSS.
    Go to the CSS and write the code with the wrapper where you have the other styles in the wrapper.
    Example:
    #wrapper {
    background-image: url (images/photo1.png;
    }
    Hope that helped some.

    when I set right and left to auto box didn't center? help me! I am using cs5 btw.

  • @GlennaRichards
    @GlennaRichards 14 років тому

    @sisterslivingwell: Middle actually refers to the horizontal space on the page. Watch how he center the wrapper again to know the exact settings. Keep in mind that your logo must have a width for the box or it will default to as large as possible for that area defined. Also, I had problems with the way he did the wrapper originally and had to center the "*" css style sheet. Check out your code and use the style sheet that is above the logo to edit the margins and your logo will center.
