Velma is so inept at solving mysteries that the writers had to force all the female characters in one space for her to do some actual investigating.

The writers are so inept that they waited to episode 7. To reveal the fact we already know the victims were link to project scooby, and the killer could've altered their voice. Its also thanks to Norville that he figured out his Grandmother was still alive and that she wanted someone to check out the military base to see if the military was still trying to copy her work. Just to force the information about what's going on to Velma.
@@SilverLining1 Season 1 was worse. Literally everything had to be told to Velma and everyone else had to do the grunt work for Velma to be like. "Yes I solved the mystery."
Even then, it feels like her friends that tolerate her, do most of the work, and are better at mystery solving.
And once again, Velma outsources the thinking and takes all the credit.

1. The season is almost over and they just told us the one connection to the serial killer we all figured out episodes ago. That its all connected to project scooby.
2. Daphne's mom constantly told people they are bad at their job. They let a known suspect out to prove their innocence, and they have the gall to get mad at their supporters for not doing more.

TBH being able to hang out with your PTSD hallucinations instead of being emotionally abused by them is peek wish fulfilment. The fact they have to retroactively have Daphne cheat on Velma in an attempt to make Velma the better person in the relationship by making Daphne apologize for something... They are bending over so far backwards to try to make Velma look good by contrast their heads up firmly up their asses licking their own tonsils, and it still isn't working. Also the writing just bad. Like did they only realize this far in how undeserving of love and happiness this... _THING_ is, that they didn't think up the cheating subplot in the forehand, or is this just another case of introducing a dilemma to solve it literally five seconds later again? Oh who am I kidding, it's the latter, it's always the close an issue five seconds after it's brought up thing.

That makes no sense. Do the show staff get paid based on how many seasons they make or how many episodes they make? At most it would be cheaper to produce 2 seasons in one sitting rather than producing one season, wait a couple months and then gather the team back.

They try to make the "rich white man" be the bad guys by making them overly dumb, misogynistic and stuff, but since they antagonize the absolute insufferable main characters they end up being way more enjoyable lol

I don't know if you know about this or not but there is a Scooby Doo Apocalypse comic book. It's better than this and the dogs scooby and scrappy are actual military experiments and Shaggy is the dog trainer. The Apocalypse happens and the scooby gang meet for the first time. Someone on youtube explained the whole story.

The weird part is that either on the trailer or the pilot ( cant remember which) velma was bragging about how she was the brains and the true detective of the group, but so far everyone else has been doing the detective work and all the stuff jist so happens to fall in front of velma and even then she sucks so much at detective work, she needed all the women in town to progress with the case and even then it was a red herring of her dad being the culprit
