Why do you think she wants you to take them seriously? She's declaring herself and any woman who makes an SA allegation to be the empress, and she wants the peasantry (us, according to her) to be forced to accept her rule, alongside the rest of the women who do this, and then let them persecute and SA whoever they want. As a male CSA victim, I've had to deal with people like this my entire life, Mindy Kaling isn't a new case, this problem is centuries in the making.

Well they pretty much acknowledged that in the first season. Daphne outright said that Velma's obsessive possession towards Daphne is part of what attracts her as it feeds into her desperate pathological need for attention.
If they say that velma's father is a cheater for the fact that had a baby with another women AFTER 10 YEARS that velma's mother was missing, i just have to say, that if was a woman in that situarion they say "but she deserve to rebuilf her life"

The worst thing is, the creators of Scooby Doo only died in 2020, both of them. And then 3 years later this comes out. But it was actually announced only 5 months after the last creator died.
Another horrible thing. The mother of one of the creators was named Edna, and this show made the person named Edna a super irredeemable brain scooping lady who was insane.

Two things: First of all, while most of Norville's character arc this season has been offensive to those with mental health issues, can we just take a moment to appreciate how good of a boyfriend he's been to Lola? And how they have way more chemistry than Velma and Daphne do? He's trying his best to accomodate her and that's touching.
Second, and this the latest edition in the Not How Pagans Work rant, curses. Not every Wiccan/Pagan/etc believes in magic, in fact most probably don't, but for those that do the rules are clear; it should never be used on someone without their knowledge and especially not to bring harm. That's *black magic*. So not only is Amber a stupid stereotype, they're also just a horrible one in general because their answer to Daphne saying "I want to curse Velma to never be loved" was apparently "ok".
You know, normally I wouldn't even be mad about it. It's a pop culture thing, it's been in the zeitgeist for decades, but this show tries to hard to dunk on so many different facets of society that something I'd normally just shrug at is bothering me.
Side note: Can we talk about how nice it is to see how much Fred has changed? He's taking charge, he's making friends! He's childish and still an idiot but my god he's trying his best and that's important to call out.

Yeah, the show is trying to come across as a "we poke fun at everyone" type of thing, except it's not fun or funny. They aren't laughing at the absurdities or weird implications of certain things or practices. They're just taking the worst and most unflattering stereotypes of everything and then pissing on it screaming "This is why you suck".
If we could, like... have 100% less Velma, and just have the show be all about Fred, I think it could be a solid 2/10, rather than the -3/10 it is right now.

It's because they don't think of his lines as being funny because they're jokes. They think they're being funny by degrading him. They don't understand that he's the only somewhat likable person on the show.

So velma's mom went missing due to reading about project scoobi. But years later when Velma is leaving the jail cell, right next to Pudue's daughter and in front of the sheriff (who was one of the people in on the project) nothing happens to her. Seriously they have the writers have the memory of goldfish.
How exactly is getting a new girlfriend after your wife abandoned you for weeks cheating? Cause that's what Velma's dad believed at the time. That Diya had abandoned them, and after weeks of nothing from her, he started a new relationship. Maybe a little fast but was l did I miss s part where it was revealed that he was in a relationship with someone before Diya went missing?
The guy who Mindy kissed is also gay, it was even worse for him, poor guy.

God, I love how the best part of the show is still Fred. Every time he shows up, it's like something funny or based will be said. The only tolerable person in this entire show. It's honestly a miracle that they even made Norville tolerable, he's unbearable yet, his relationship with Lola is actually decent to watch.

ngl, at the start I enjoyed Nux's pain and suffering, but as I kept watching and got more... exposed to this show I started feeling pain and I don't like it.
The show is fucking torture. Not even a whole ass so bad it’s good deal. It’s just fucking miserable. Mindy Kaling needs to be stopped.
I thought it was just me, the first season was tolerable with Nux's commentary but this is just... pain....but I will stand by Nux's suffering, it's the least i can do.
Yeah. I literally suffer. It's still essentially half the episode due to editing and I get to share it with someone while Nux is just imagining sharing it with someone in front of a camera. What we feel is but a taste of his suffering. And that's not counting his pre watches.

The fact that your willing to sit though this to keep some form of media literacy when talking about it is mindboggling. I don't drink acholic beverages, but what little of this show I have seen makes me realize watching the whole thing would drive me to drinking the nearest source of alcohol even if is was rubbing alcohol. This show is so painful it makes me weep internally.

Guys I’m not trying to justify this garbage show but this can all be easily solved with the fact ghosts can shape shift and she’s making Norville hurt himself through stress eating and electrocute himself for fun/revenge.

The pacing of this show is ridiculous. How do they go from dapne cheated to Daphne cursed Velma to cursing Velma is actually evidence of how much Daphne loved Velma. There's no time to get emotionally invested.

I think I'm starting to filter out velma from the show and just listen to everything else, and honestly the plot makes no sense but there's at least the sherif being a 'good' character. hopefully it stays like this for this episode.

Why is the voice acting so weird? The tones are so different in the same scene and conversation, this is the most amateur million dollar production ever
List on why the voice acting sucks:
-Too fast,
- no voice pacing,
- clearly only takes a first two takes in voice acting as a final results,
- clearly voice actors don't have the voice instructor,
- and probably never watch the storyboard before start voice acting.
The central valley joke is a california thing. It was honestly one of the few jokes that made me crack a smile. It's very specific though unfortunately.
Same with the joke about weed and norcal a few episodes ago. It's funny if you're familiar with California.
