To give a negative comment on it you have to make sure you have test it at least once. As an Axio owner I would like to mark my comment as most of the others it’s the basic sedan/saloon hybrid which introduced by the Toyota for their domestic market. So Axio is not an international brand like Prius. Therefore Axio Hybrid is a basic and economical solution. You have to be an owner to see what benefits you get by having an Axio here are the few which I have been benefited. it just cost me only so where around $ 10 gas per a week, office, home and ect. Does 20-25 KMPL within City limits and 30-35 country. Longest journey I ever had is 1300 Km and it only cost me around $ 45. Maintain is so cheap comparing to others hybrids in the same range.
Hi buddy hope you're doing good. Any idea how to change language from Japanese to English? As I've just bought a 2016 Axio Hybrid. I tried with Google translate but couldn't fix that. I'm asking about speedometer panel. I managed the navigation panel with the help of Google translate. Thanks.

Plain and simple, just a wonderful no-nonsense vehicle. Too bad we'll never see something like that here again in Western Europe too soon.
The fact that Japanese people like practical, efficient and reliable machines shows that the country is decades ahead when it comes to population education and order. Of course there is still crime and bad people, but a lot less than in any other country.

@@ghostofwolverine6065 Fair Point, but then again long distance travel isn't what a Hybrid is good at anyway. A Passat, especially with a TDI Motor is though, so you're on to a winning Combo there, Buddy.

@@watchandspray no its great. Just stick to the regularly scheduled maintenance and everything should be fine.
The only _unexpected_ expense was that i had to have it tinted it because it came with no tint at all.

I don't expect too much for Corolla Axio, since it was a "Basic Car" in Japan. But Toyota could give better than this, it's a conventional way to design & build a car

It depends, Hybrid works best if you're going to use the vehicle daily. It has higher initial cost, but would save fuel cost in the long run.
Non-hybrid, is much cheaper, and sometimes more reliable due to their simplicity. It's perfect for occasional drive, but it would generally have higher fuel consumption than their hybrid counterpart.

Can u plz mention the differences btw X,G and G WXB or whatever it's called? like WXB has leather seats.
X has the basic trim, standard plastic wheels, key start, standard headlamps, G has the keyless entry, push start, lane detection (standard on all trims), heated/cooled seats. And XWB is the highest trim with the body kit, alloy wheels, LED headlamps, leather seats, faux carbon fiber trim pieces inside the cabin, as well as whatever comes standard in the G variant.

It does not have built in USB ports
Rev counter/Tachometer instead of power meter on left? At least the power meter/eco indicator is within the MID on right side along with energy flow, hybrid battery state of charge and digital speedometer, and other important economy and vehicle info once cycling through the "pages", not to mention fuel gauge, gear indicator, outdoor temp and odometer. Regarding the amount in JPY (¥, Japanese yens) on the MIA, Is this regarding amount of money saved on fuel? (Assuming it shows other currencies ie £ (British pound, GBP) in UK, € (Euro, EUR) in eurozone, Kr (Krona) in Sweden (SEK), Norway (NOK) and Denmark (DKK), CHF (Swiss franc) in Switzerland, KRW ([South] Korean won) in (South) Korea, MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) in Malaysia, THB (Thai Baht) in Thailand, ₹ (INR, Indian rupee) in India, INR (Indonesian Rupiah) in Indonesia, RUB (Russian Ruble) in Russia, and $ (Dollars) in US (USD), Canada (CAD), Australia (AUD) and New Zealand (NZD), etc), also what is the voltage, watthour and amphours of the hybrid battery and lithium-ion or nickel-metal hydride?

Axio car quality not that good

electric and hybrid cars are gay
poorly executed car by Toyota... clearly it's an ad-hoc collection of components to come up with an offering for this segment. The front design is awful, the back totally uninspiring. The windscreens still use rubber gaskets which cars in the 1990s used. The interior ergonomics are terrible... the start button is next to mirror controls, but the drive mode selection switches are in the centre console, behind the seat heater switches? The gear selector is from 10 years ago, and why are those two ugly stalks needed just to adjust the time on the clock?
And the uninspired key-less unlock beeps which are already outdated, everyone else is doing horns.
In Japan, Corolla is a "Basic Car", so what do you expect?? Only available with 1.3l or 1.5l or hybrid
This is a basic car, not meant to be built exciting like a camry. Interior wise its got what the basic car needs, at least the specs given were good enough for people to have cheap alternative and not looking for something special. You should check out on third world countries where toyota sells small car like these and what their design looked like eg. toyota vios/yaris. Or check out cars from toyota's own sub brand Daihatsu. But I got to agree with you the exterior design is ugly especially the rear.

These r the dudes who only cares about looks n speed of the car. Please study the target segment of Corolla , I drive this in Japan n it was amazing, the oil consumption is unbelievably low, maintenance is super easy , for everyday daily basis , this car is insanely well
