Is the binding for the zipper cut on the bias? Can’t wait to try your method . The instructions say to attach the zipper, but the zipper tape is so inflexible, you get puckers on the curve! Binding looks like it “gives “ a little!

@TheEvie202 G'day Evie, all my binding is cut on the bias, except for a few times when I add it to pockets, etc, but I will usually say. When I make the binding for the bags, I always have leftovers, so if it's all bias binding, it can be used anywhere. Also then I'm not always having to check, "Oh, is this bias, etc, if you end up wanting to use some of it for a different project."

@ruthgreen7424 Aw, I'm sorry to hear that Ruth, it isn't easy when that happens. I Hope you are doing OK. I lost my guy's mum Lily when my boy ( Bjorn, the black one) was only 2 weeks old. And I had to handrare the litter. But they turned out great Jupiter the little cream one she mothered them and she's never had a litter. She was amazing, the only thing she couldn't do was feed them, tho I think she would have if she could have.

Hello Grace I get the folders from my local office supply store. Here in Australia it's office works, I'm also able to purchase extra clear sleeves and I put as many By annie patterns into the same folder as I can.
My oldest chihuahua passed away Tuesday morning, he was with me 18yrs .. all your pups are just adorable! ❤ 🐶

Oh, Mark, I'm so so sorry to hear of your buddy passing. I lost my heart (yui's mum) three 3years ago, and it really knocked me for a six. She was with me through all my cancer surgery and treatment. Thankyou very much, yes she was with me through a very bad health issues and she was such a treasure. I still miss her everyday. But she is with me always around my neck in a pendant and her urn ⚱️ is so beautiful.

@patriciaosuch G'day there ah you should be able to purchase it from your local fabric shop, or if that's not an option you can purchase it from the By annie website.
Where do you purchase your zippers with the pulls?

Are binding strips straight of grain or bias?
Hi for these I cut them on the bias. Most of the binding I do I cut on the bias.

@user-qo9kb7ci9b most welcome. The only time, I don't cut on the bias is if I add binding to zipper tape or I add something not in the pattern. The main reason is I always have leftover binding, so if I cut it on the bias, it can be used no matter what.

The triangle is not at all as you interpreted it. You just fold the piece of fabric in half horizontally, then fold the upper outside to the middle. Everything is in the seam. If you are going to reinterpret someone’s pattern, at least get it correct. Perhaps you should have watched the By Annie video, prior to trying to make a bag online for others.
Thanks for your opinion tho the way I do it works also. Each to there own, people understand things differently and if it works then there's no problem.
