Great video, thank you! What torque specification if any did you use to reinstall the wheel? I've looked everywhere trying to find the torque specs for the wheel and all bolts on this mower but I can't seem to find it. Thanks!
Honestly I was in the same boat.I couldn't find torque specs for it so I went by just hand tightening to get to the point where I thought it was tight and wouldn't come out
@@poeonthego that makes sense! It's kind of dumb that Cub Cadet doesn't provide basic torque specs for the common things we need to remove. I appreciate your videos they're so helpful!
I do not recall. I always just check the side wall for max psi and go a bit lighter. I like the tires to be a bit spongey so they are less damaging to the grass
Ya know I have found less and less of tube usage on home sized equipment. Possibly a cost cutting measure? I am thinking of either tubing both or going with a self sealing application to the insides of the tires (something like slime but more on the industrial strength side)
With those being 2 ply tires and potentially having flats more often, why can't a guy SLIM the tires? I found in the past that SLIM can help you out quite a bit with flats.
Yeah surprised me that so many don't know basic maintenance and repair. I actually had to have my daughter's friends come over with their cars so I could show them how to check fluids and change a tire. Worst part...3 of the dad's came also because they didn't know...
@@WellRoundedMBS I actually did that to a friend's wife. He just shook his head when she replied..."Oh I didn't know that low blinker fluid could affect the engine" The call I got, from her at the auto parts store PRICELESS! And yes was surprising to see adults just a few years younger than me not knowing the basics like checking fluids / tire changing / etc.
thank you this is just what i needed short and to the point
Thank you! What was the brown thing that you put in the tire?
That is the plug string. It has like wax built up on it and sets hard in the puncture to close it off.
Where do you find these tires at? I can't seem to find back tires anywhere for my zero turn?.
I got a pair off of amazon. Couldn't find them anywhere else

Thank you and I agree. Manufacturers seem to be moving away from people working on pieces they buy. Smh
@@poeonthego yes so true sadly
Very nice, thank you.
What are the tires air pressure?

i was a bit surprised those were tubless.

Mine has tubes, its the 2016 model with the steering wheel.

It is possible, I have not had enough experience with slime to make a judgement on it. I am in the process of getting airless tires for the ZT1.
good video not too many people jnowhow to do that !

@@poeonthego ask them to check the blinker fluid / i have done that with my oldest daughter at auto zone about 7 years ago

FYI, I just replaced the adjustable seat bolts and used lock washers.
My next move is putting motorcycle seat springs on mine. I tested with an older pair and much smoother of a ride.
jnoe should be = know how
