Ahhhh - ze germans 😅- great tool & nice video 👍
First Like ☺️👍🏻 Excellent Product, I did a review of it. Amazing! Congratulations!
does it work on pvc-u pressure pipes? (PN10, PN16, ...) ?
Can it cut multi layer PPR/fiberglass/PPR pipes?
All well and good standing at a desk, do it on a fix pipe at an awkward angle.
The United States market wants the black handled Japanese 2021 version pliers available for sale in the United States. Could we make this happen?
Wo kann man sich die Produkte alle ansehen? Baumärkte haben kaum Auswahl.
And when it comes to the Niutons - WERA to the rescue 😁
Ojala llegara a mi pais super practico
The idea of the tool is great, but it lacks automatic (in one pass) chamfering/bevelling function. In order to properly connect drainage pipes with rubber gaskets the end of the pipe should be slightly chamfered.
You can add a spacer behind the blade.
Hello Stefan. cutting and chamfering at the same time is now possible with Knipex DP50, available since June 2022
@@dirkadler2717 Thank you for the information. It's great news. Although I have similar cutters made by Ridgid (the original plumbing tools), they come in fixed sizes: one for 32 and 40 mm and one for 50 mm pipes. So having one tool with stepless diameter adjustment will be great. I am waiting for that tool to be available in Poland.
Edit:
I've read the specs. Even though adjustment is not stepless, but incremental and fixed to 32, 40, 50 mm, DP50 is still more versatile than two separate cutters from Ridgid.
Hahahaha germans would put a torque spec on a plumbing pipe cutter! Hang on there hoss lemme grab my torque adapter so i can swap a razor blade.
Don't get me wrong tho, I bought one :D
We're proud of you! 😁🙌

Nothing to do with this video, but I thought you should know, I have just bought a pair of combination pliers,
(02 01 200) the quality of the finishing is disgraceful,, every edge was sharp, (able to cut paper,,, I tried it !!! )
If this is an indication of your general quality control, then I won't be buying Knipex in the future,, there are several other manufacturers, which have a much better finished product,,,
Wera, Wiha, etc, etc,,
I am extremely disappointed with the pliers,,,,,
Hi John..,
thank you for your comment. Do you mean that even the gripping jaws are sharp? If you refer to the cutting jaws below that, those are part of the function of combination pliers.
Kind regards from Germany

@@KNIPEXofficial obviously cutting and gripping jaws are meant to have sharp edges, I am referring to EVERY finished edge and facet, on the tool, as a whole,, I had to spend several hours "smoothing" all the edges which were very sharp, and as a result, the pliers look shoddy now, but they are smooth to the touch, but the cutting and gripping jaws are sharp and effective..
Hi John.., we are very sorry for that. Could you tell us where you are from? Then we would be very happy to refer you to the right customer service.
Kind regards from Germany
