Just watched to the end. Aye, a bit of history is good too. There are folk that don't know what we, know. That stuff gets lost if we don't share it. I agree with you about not wearing clothes in sleeping bags. I don't do the merino wool thing though, I go the full Rab C with the string vest! Toasty as. Your hiking in with a bulky sleeping bag problem? I get around that by using it like a Santa sack, using it to line the inside of my bergan. All my bagged up pots etc go inside it. The sleeping bag's usually the last thing out anyway and it saves a ton of space. Great video, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks.

Nice vid Col. Not seen you, Tam or Stuart in years! I think my last big outings were meet ups at Comrie and Lumsden/Pettycur Wick. I never made it to the Hogmanay camps due to work/Lymes but enjoyed the vids. I can get out locally for a few hours as there's a wee wood at the end of my street here in South Queensferry. As I'm no sherpa these days, and don't have the legs or lungs for a long bimble, I just got an L20 cargo ebike. That work horse will get me to my auld haunts. All the best man. Liam.

Thanks Liam, great to hear from you bud! Glad you're still getting out and about, even if it's on a ebike, got myself one a couple of years ago and love it, makes cycling more fun as you get older...glad you're doing well and hopefully catch up for a wee camp one day mate
