I was the same as you, couldn't decide between the lite 1 and 2...there really isn't a perfect tent, all about what circumstances you're in, both great tents for different occasions 👍

@@WestieTravels oh for sure! And I can already feel the pull towards having a whole _fleet_ of tents for all different purposes... Not that my wallet will be happy with that!

Hi. I have a long/wide Nemo sleeping mat. 193x64 cm. It only just fits into the Abisko Lite 1. Hope this helps.

Didn't realise that! Id presume that being an American company they'd be popular over there! But they are just a cottage industry company, being a small company making bespoke items and to be fair, these tents are very expensive using the DCF material. Many thanks for the comment, the Abisko lit 1 is a great tent, but space is really limited, it's lighter than the 2 but not by much and you get a lot more room. As always it's a personal choice either weight saving or a bit of comfort and space. Good luck on your hike the West highland way is a great walk with stunning views 👍

Not sure, I think, if I remember properly it only comes in 50 and 65 litre 👍

@@WestieTravels Yeah, that's what it seems so. 65 liters should be enough though for a 4-5 day trip up a winter mountain, right?

@jimsagubigula7337 yeah, should be fine, depending what you take, thanks exactly what I bought it for, check out tha Atmos 65 AG and the LT version, the LT is a more basic version without all the pockets, depends how you like to pack your backpack 👍

@@WestieTravels I generally try to pack as light as possible because I had some bad experienced in the past with over packing. As for the LT version, I don't know. I like having some spare pockets and somewhere to store my ice axe and trekking poles.

Yes, definitely go for the lite 2, the minimal extra weight is worth the extra room and comfort and it stands up to the wind very well 👍

@@WestieTravels ended up going for the 1 😅 it's a comparable size to the robens chaser 2 I'm replacing (smaller inner, bigger vestibule) and saw it for a cracking price so couldn't resist. Can definitely foresee myself being tempted still by the abisko lite 2 if I see it at a good price though 😂. Cheers again for the video, came back to watch again a few more times to help my indecisive mind

Hilleberg produces in Europe whereas Fjällräven does in China. That's why they can offer it cheaper. To me it feels better to own a product Made in Europe.

Yeah quality kit , had a wee seat in my friends high back Helinox last weekend, really comfy chair, might just get myself one too...do you feel like the mat is worth purchasing? 👍

@@WestieTravels definitely, especially if you're on soft/wet ground or sand. Also useful if it's a bit windy.. weigh it down with a few rocks

@@WestieTravels instead buying fjall view I would buy mesh inner for abisko 2 it’s cost about 150-200 and lite 2 features making it good tent for summer also…but yea it’s hard to find it and company make them once a year also ✌️
