Myanmar fighting: Junta faces resistance three years after a coup

- Three years after launching a military coup, Myanmar’s military is facing stiffer resistance than ever before.
An alliance of ethnic armies launched an offensive against the military in Shan state in late October of last year,
that sparked a wave of resistance around the country.
Since then the military have been pushed back from strategic bases and border crossings.
Al Jazeera's Tony Cheng reports from the Thai- Myanmar border.

The military still thinking the old way to admin the country. Never learnt any lesson on how to developed the country to modernize country. They neighbouring country like Thailand are fully developed with multi ethnic groups integrated into nations.
there is influence from countries like China and India that surrounds Myanmar. If people at the higher level are corrupt, tries to benefit themselves and only one group of people, the other ethnic groups will revolt for sure. As far I read some article China wants a port/base in arakan that was one reason to drive away Rohingya people who were living there for hundreds of years.

Approximately 75% of the land is under the control of the resistance fighters, i.e. Juta's day is numbered.
Let ethnic groups govern their occupied areas
Soon they will fight with each other for power. Because everyone has arms now, and without military (obviously) , police and law it will become like mexican cartel states quickly.

Because rohingya issue is totally different from what's happening now in Myanmar. Rohingyas are small minority groups inside Myanmar. And people from Myanmar used to hate them because of separatist movement and religious staff. When I said people, I ment both military and the people who now fighting against the military. So how exactly rohingyas now staying in Myanmar and fighting with Arakan army is a reasonable thing to you?
