- Hey everyone, it's been a while! Welcome back to my channel and thanks so much for tuning in! For this video I wanted to try something new by conveying my passion for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens via music video montage (Special thanks to @samuelkimmusic for graciously allowing fellow content creators permission to use his epic orchestral remixes!)
Although the sequel trilogy was understandably divisive for countless fans including me, my goal was to recreate & share the pure excitement I had back in 2015 when Star Wars mania was finally resurfacing after a decade's hiatus from cinemas since Revenge of the Sith. I figured what better way than to capture & highlight my favorite parts of the film via 35 fun pose ideas alongside some truly awesome & nostalgic music.

Oh wow, thanks so much for being honest and vulnerable enough to share that with me. Episode 7 and the cinematic return of Star Wars back in 2015 really meant a lot to me, and my goal for this video was to recapture the passion, excitement, and emotion from the original trailers and overall film... so for you to have this kind of emotional response (even if it was just watery eyes) confirms that I was able to accomplish my goal in sharing that passion with fellow fans of the film/franchise. Seriously from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for watching & sharing your positive feedback. May the force of others be with you ☺️🙏

Mate! That is incredible. I absolutely love my Rey and Kylo figures. Scavenger Rey was the first Hot Toy I ever got, and now I have three Reys. I have Scavenger Rey posed with her head shroud just standing with her upright staff next to BB-8, and while it looks really cool, it's great to see how many poses she could have. It's amazing how natural you are able to make their poses look.

Even if you fail at the more dynamic posing, what matters is that you try and keep on trying! Like any skill, it just takes time, practice, and patience -- eventually it'll become easier and more natural the more ya do it because you'll inevitably get better ☺️
And I'm really glad this video helped ya reminisce on the film within its 2.5 minute timeframe -- it validates that I was able accomplish my goal which puts a huge smile on my face 😊🙏

Indeed the past few years haven't exactly been kind to the sequel trilogy and I wanted to recapture the excitement / hype from when episode 7 trailers were breaking the internet and blowing people's minds back in 2015. I remember just seeing Kylo Ren's cross-hilt saber light up in the dark forest was bone chilling at the time so I'm forever grateful that I was able to replicate that sense of passion & excitement for ya 🤩🙌👊

Yes! This was great! The editing was amazing! I have the Kylo and have been considering the Rey to do that pose of them fighting. Love it!

Heads up, getting them to balance will be tricky at first but once you attach their hands, they tend to keep each other propped up since their combined center of gravity becomes wider. Definitely give it a go, it's a really fun pose that's also detolf friendly (if you have a detolf) 😁

And yeah I just received Rey & BB-8 last month brand new and got to posing/filming straight away. Unfortunately her brown backpack began flaking like crazy as soon as I took it out of the box (understandable since the figure was stored & sealed for years) so it won't exactly look aesthetically pleasing in s full blown tutorial video 😅

I would love to do more music videos like this but the tricky part is that there’s a huge risk of being flagged for copyright strike - it only takes 3 strikes on UA-cam for a channel to be shut down/removed so it’s a bit of a gamble 😅

And yeah I was a bit more consistent with producing videos during the lockdowns in 2020 but I haven’t had as much free time since going back to work in 2021.
I do plan on hosting livestream posing sessions on the channel sometime soon though. I’ll be moving to a new location next month so I’m hoping to begin live-streaming the posing tutorial/hangouts sometime in mid-late June!

I wonderful I’m glad you you’ll be doing more videos soon. I am also moving. I don’t have a display right now but will in the new home. I look forward setting up. I plan on have an iron man themed office/den and then switching it out for another theme every 6months.

I don't normally use display bases or stands but the JL Ramp kinda looked imperial/industrial enough for Rey to be leaning on so I'm glad ya noticed & enjoyed that little detail! 😁

As it happens I did not intend for it to be a recreation of Battlefront 2, I didn't even know it's a pose in the game haha -- I bought the game back when it first came out but didn't really play it more than a few hours. Either way I'm super grateful you enjoyed the pose enough to recreate it so please by all means, and thanks for watching & commenting 😁
I rewatched for a 3rd time, so good! If you don't mind me asking, it takes me ages to perfect a pose...how long did it take for all of these lol

And I don't mind you asking at all! I filmed this video over the course of 3 weeks while juggling work and life in general. Depending on the complexity of the pose (how many figures involved, wire work for wind-swept robes etc) it would take anywhere between 5-10 minutes to over an hour per pose. It was definitely a labor of love, but I'd say the hardest part about the whole process was spending all that time just to film a pose for 5-10 seconds then tear it all down to start a new pose. Part of me wanted to admire the poses a little longer but then I'd never get the video out there 😂
I really am glad that people like yourself are thoroughly enjoying it though... everyone's overwhelmingly positive feedback is a heartwarming reminder of why I love making content like this for fellow collectors to appreciate and enjoy, even if it only comes once every month or so 😆 As I've been mentioning to some folks, I'm very lucky to have everyone's ongoing support 🥰

Hmm I think you might be referring to when Kylo Ren steps back to dodge Luke's lightsaber near the end... I plugged a black wire into the top-slot of the saber hilt, then connected the other end of the wire to the front of Kylo Ren's hoodie/scarf. The wire blends in better because it's black like his robes 😁

Haha getting them to stand or run in place just takes some practice and a lot of patience. It’s actually easier to prop up 2 figures together since their center of gravity is much wider, they’re less like likely to fall over since they tend to lean on one another.

Did you Modify the like lower flaps of Kylo's outfit? They look thinner then usual? If so, how did you go about it? P.s you should upload waaaay more dude, your vids are amazing even your tutorials
Nah Kylo and his robes are original - I just stuffed some wire/black twist-ties into his boots, belt, and shoulders to prop up the robes for the wind-swept poses.

Thanks! And nah the figures in this video are original including the clothing, I just tucked various black wires & twist-ties into Kylo’s boots / belt / vest to give off the impression of wind flowing through his robes 👍

Hey Peter could you do a a posing video with the new endgame Thor from the final battle
I probably won't do a dedicated video for that figure since he's not very posable but I'll be sure to share some photos/pose ideas of him upon delivery via Instagram & Facebook. I'll likely include him in a future video for my various Endgame figures, might do music video similar to this one here.
