Whoa. Comparing D:I to Arnak? Arnak is light family friendly game, Dune: Imperium is a punishing game. Most VP's are scored on a basis that only one player can score them (except 2influence VP's and Spice Must Flow +Tleilaxu points in Immortality expansion). You make some big mistake in Arnak and you score few points less out of 60+ you score through the game. You make huge mistake in Dune and you might just be out of the game. If in Arnak symbols don't matter and you can just go wherever (for a small price) why have them in first place?
Saying that you didnt draw the symbol you needed is just a bad play where you depend on good draws. Besides you should always know what cards you have in deck and in discard so you can correctly predict what you will/can draw. Controlling reshuffle (when you reshuffle your discard) is big part of competetive meta play in Dune: imperium to have control on what you draw. I'd say that D:I is more of hand management game with added in deckbuilding than pure deckbuilding. In competetive play a deck of 14+ cards is bloated deck.
Complaining that the game has problems because someone blocked you out in workerplacement game? Come on guys.
I guess you just made a lot of rookie mistakes and blame the game.

Let the record show that you’re reacting to Daniel’s comments and not mine….
      Thanks for watching!

thank you for watching! I mean Arank and DI both have card driven worker placement and you are racing up tracks. I mean they can both share a spot on a shelf, but I think its fair to say they have similar mechanisms, and are worth comparing. Plus they came out at the same time, so they will always be mentioned in the same conversation. They are like Fraternal Twins - Daniel
