Awesome action and sweet meet with the freight and intermodal together, my dad and I are heading down there and it is my first time railfanning in Folkston!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FANTASTIC VIDEO! I would like to commend you on this video and it's other part; that you uploaded. Your work on filming, composition of the shot and the sound quality for each passing train was superb!! Well documented information about each train's symbol and the respective power on each train was well enjoyed! Thanks for taking us along with you on this trip! Great Video!! I thoroughly enjoyed watching both Part 1 and Part 2! Dave
Thanks. Most of all trains passing between Georgia and Florida have to go through Folkston so, trains can come from everywhere along the CSX system, from the northeast, Chicago, mid-west, Mississippi Delta, you name it.
I remember my first visit to Folkston in 2009...was a great experience. Hated to leave. Have been looking for real estate down there, preferably along the tracks.
Thanks, Josh! It certainly was a great experience for me and I loved this place! I caught the middle of the Christmas and New Years and I should probably head out there again if I have time during a non-holiday period and kind of compare between the two.
I hope so, cuz I remember T097 with the ex-SP AC4400CW and the YN2 SD50-2. The other thing wise was S457 with a switcher along with more social stuff from earlier, one of wich was the crew in the cab of Q602 asking, "Morning, Folkston, GA!"

Thanks, Hans! The flood lights stays on all night so one can stay up all night they want.
